Story
Meet sweet Princess Leia, or Leia, for short. We also call her taterbug because she loves baking in the sun like a little potato. She is a snuggly lap dog. So be ready for cuddles and kisses. She needs to be an only dog household. She does not show aggression at all towards people or animals, but she does want to be the dominant one is our household. We have another dog and they are not meshing well. There was a biting incident between the two. For this reason, we feel she would thrive much better as the only dog. She gets along great with our cat, Oliver. We rescued her 7 months ago from the humane society. She was a surrender, with no back story. She had been with the previous family for 5 years. Everyone at the humane society went on about how snuggly she was, and they were right! She is 7 years old. UTD on all shots, microchipped, spayed, and on monthly flea and tick meds. We will be happy to supply all her toys, blankets, clothes and a 6 month supply of flea and tick meds.

Story
One year old mixed American/English Staffordshire terrier. Crate and house trained. Very playful and just wants to be loved on. He loves being outside and a home with a fence would be perfect for him. He is not so good on a leash and needs someone who has the time to walk with him. He is a sweet loving boy but he is very strong and needs a family that has the time to play with him. He will come with his crate, bed , leash, harness, and any food that is left.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since April 2018Meet Amora – A Hidden Gem Waiting for Her Person   Hello, my name is Amora. I’ve heard people say I’m beautiful—and I won’t argue with that! But there’s so much more to me than just my looks. I’ve been at PRBJ for over six years, patiently waiting for the right person to come along. That’s more than half my life spent dreaming of a place to call home.   Why So Long? The truth is, I need time. I don’t warm up to new people right away, but once you earn my trust, I will love you fiercely and forever. I never forget those who show me kindness. I’m loyal, gentle with those I trust, and I truly just want a quiet home where I can relax and feel safe.   Here’s What You Should Know About Me:   I walk well on a leash, though I prefer short strolls over long adventures—especially if you’re by my side. I would do best in a calm, adult-only home (1–2 adults max) with very little foot traffic. I must be the only pet in the home. No dogs, cats, birds, or squirrels (I’ve got strong feelings about them). A fish might be okay! I need patience, understanding, and consistency—but I promise, I’m worth it.     Still Reading? That Means You Might Be the One. If you think you might be the special person I’ve been waiting for, the team at PRBJ is ready to help us take the journey together. They know me well and are more than willing to support a slow introduction process to make sure we’re the perfect match.   It might take time, but I believe in second chances. Do you?    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 29, 2025, 7:07 pm
