Story
Goldie came to us as a stray with 10 puppies just after they were born. We fear that life was not always kind to her, but since she’s been with us she has learned to trust and love and is ready for her fur-ever home. She’s so sweet and snuggly and just wants to be by your side. Probably best in a home without young children, as she still does get scared easily with loud noises and fast movements. Please complete an adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/202126352339045 Applications are evaluated in the order received and all Adoption fees help fund the medical and daily care of our other animals in need.

Story
Meet Alita, your future best friend! Alita is a lover, a protector, and a total princess. She’s the kind of dog who will hug you, shower you with kisses, and stay by your side fearlessly while fully expecting to be spoiled in return. At just 2 years old, Alita still has that fun, puppy-like energy and enthusiasm for life. She’s also very alert and vocal she takes her job of protecting her people seriously! Noises, leaves, spiders, or the wind don’t stand a chance without Alita making sure everyone knows she’s on duty. Alita has never bitten anyone and has done wonderfully with children of all ages and other dogs. She was even evaluated at a dog boarding facility, where the staff absolutely loved her. She is up to date on vaccinations, house-trained, and crate-trained. Alita has been left alone during full workdays and has done just fine. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Alita is looking for a new home where she can be cherished and given the love and affection she deserves.

Story
This perky little girl came to us, with a litter of puppies, by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services. We pull dogs and cats from LCDAS somewhat regularly, as sadly, they can’t help but run out of room often. Sarah came to us testing positive for Heartworm disease. As always, we fully treated her, and she is now available for adoption. Sarah definitely takes some time to get to know most people, particularly men. She is very sweet once she gets used to you, but will definitely require multiple visits on the part of a potential adopter. Why not come out and meet this little girl? Our Bonded Pair Adoption Fee is Now Fully Sponsored By A Generous Donor! Can we get a home for the holidays?Hi! My name is Brodie - me and my best friend Nugget ended up at a really scary county animal services. We were so scared that we became each other’s support dogs. Now, we are bonded and don’t like being apart from each other. We get along great and are really good boys! We like to keep our area clean- so don’t typically go to the bathroom inside. Helping us establish a schedule/routine with you will finish getting us housetrained. We like playing with toys- but aren’t destructive at all.Nugget is a chihuahua mix estimated at 2 years old and weighing around 16 lbs; Brodie is a 3 yr old boxer and weighs about 60lbs. We are both neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. We are a bonded pair so need to be adopted together. Story
Hello! My name is Lady. Somehow, I wound up in municipal county animal services place. The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer mix and weigh approximately 60lbs. I am very sweet and well behaved - I think that’s how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I'd be best suited for homes without smaller high energy dogs. I don’t seem to mind the rescue cats I see on my walks! I have such a gentle and easy going personality, that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. Could it be you?My $250.00 adoption fee includes all of the medical care I received, vet exams, spay and heartworm test (negative), up to date vaccines, deworming, and microchip - all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
