The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer and/or mastiff mix and weigh approximately 60lbs. I am very sweet and well behaved - I think that’s how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I know how to sit and take treats gently. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I'd be best suited for homes without smaller high energy dogs. I don’t seem to mind the rescue cats I see on my walks! I have such a gentle and easy going personality, that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. Thankfully, the kind people at Guardians stepped up and working with the county shelter helped me get my surgery done and provided all of the general and medical I needed to be ready for my forever home!I am estimated at 1-1.5 yrs old and appear to be an American bulldog mix. I am about 65Lbs right now and could still grow a little more. I am very energetic and active, so really looking for an active family who maybe likes the outdoors as much as I do! My rescue thinks I'll do better with older vs younger children simply due to my size and energy. I know how to walk well on leash, but a very strong boy. I’ve been okay around other dogs here at the rescue, so I think I would like a fur sibling? Thankfully Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us and provided the general and medical care we needed to be ready for forever home. While I am still a little shy, I warm up very quickly once I know you- especially if you have some good treats! I am estimated at 9 months old as of the end of January and look like a boxer/bulldog mix.I have been friendly with other dogs here. I’ve only met cats a few times, but they seem okay, too.
