My Adoption Fee is Now Sponsored by an Anonymous Donor cuz I am Such a Good Girl!Hello! My name is Lady. Somehow, I wound up in the municipal county animal services place. The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer and/or mastiff mix and weigh approximately 60lbs. I am very sweet and well-behaved- I think that is how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I know how to sit and take treats gently. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I would be best suited for homes without smaller or high-energy dogs. I have such a gentle and easy-going personality that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. Could it be you?My $250 adoption fee is now zero thanks to a generous donor and includes all of the medical care I received, vet exams, spay and heartworm test (negative), up-to-date vaccines, deworming, and microchip - all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
We have 4 puppies, as of 8/19, who need a home. 1F 3M. We took in 10 puppies originally from a family members accidental litter. This the second time this has happened unfortunately and we kept one pup from the first litter. Pups DOB 6/8/26 Expected size: 70lbs Expected to be very food driven, loyal, energetic and sleepyhead. Based on our 3 year old, older sibling. We hope they go home to a very active family, plenty of walks and sniffaries. We are not breeders and will ensure this doesn’t happen again.

Story
This is Tiga. We’ve had her since October 11, 2022, around the time of Hurricane Ian, when we rescued her. We paid $200 for her, and we believe she was around one year old when we got her, so she should now be about 4/5 years old. She’s a Boxer mix, though we’re not exactly sure what she’s mixed with. Tiga is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She loves playing with people, is very affectionate, and has such a kind personality. She gets along well with other animals and is used to being around dogs, chickens, and turtles. She does like to chase cats, but she has never harmed one. I have a cat myself, and although she chases it sometimes, she’s never aggressive or hurtful in any way. She is vaccinated, fixed/spayed, collar and chain trained, and has never harmed anyone or anything. The reason I’m making this post is because I can no longer afford to properly care for her. I’m currently working a job that doesn’t pay enough and I’m going to enlist.

Story
Tank is a chocolate lab/boxer mix. He is 10 years old and his birthday is on April 23rd. We have 2 small children and he does really well around them. Tank used to do really well with our other dog until she unfortunately passed away. He does really well with younger puppies. If it is an older dog, he will need to do a meet and greet with that dog to make sure it’s a good fit. He is scared of thunder and has anxiety during thunder storms. Overall, Tank is a great dog. Up to date on shots and is a great dog. Unfortunately my family is moving and we will not be able to bring him with.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS NOW FULLY SPONSORED THANKS TO A GENEROUS DONOR!Hello there, my name is George! I was on the streets fending for myself when I got picked up by county animal services. Luckily, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue agreed to rescue me when a Good Samaritan offered to foster me. I’ve been with my foster mama for a month now. She says I am such a good boy! She says “ George’s striking light colored eyes, playful nature and loving personality makes him an exceptional companion.” I am estimated a just a year old and have gotten along great with other dogs (proper introduction though please!). I walk well on leash and even show my sensitive side by carrying one of my toys on my walks. My $125 adoption fee is now fully sponsored and includes vet check, up to date vaccines, heartworm test (negative), neuter, bloodwork, deworming and microchip. Story
Hi my name is Mirabal! I'm around 8 months old as of mid-June and so excited for my forever family to find me! I'm an active, outgoing, playful puppy that landed in a county shelter in a severely malnourished state. The lack of nutrients created deformities in my front legs as I was young, growing puppy, but my rescue knew exactly what to do to get me healthy again! I am a sweet, very energetic, affectionate puppy that will need obedience training and boundaries (like all puppies!), but I'm smart and eager to please! My adoption fee is now FULLY SPONSORED thanks to my friends at The Drooling Dog Bakery where I recently spent a day getting spoiled. Included are vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming, microchip, preventatives while at the rescue and all of the care I've received over the past 6 months. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
