Story
This perky little girl came to us, with a litter of puppies, by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services. We pull dogs and cats from LCDAS somewhat regularly, as sadly, they can’t help but run out of room often. Sarah came to us testing positive for Heartworm disease. As always, we fully treated her, and she is now available for adoption. Sarah definitely takes some time to get to know most people, particularly men. She is very sweet once she gets used to you, but will definitely require multiple visits on the part of a potential adopter. Why not come out and meet this little girl? Look at that smile! Zero was surrendered to us by his owner, as they didn’t have enough time to pay him the attention he deserved. This is always a sad situation. But their loss is ARC’s and maybe YOUR gain! This sweet giant gets along well with other dogs, children and does very well meeting new people. We’d love to find a great home for this sweet guy. Why not make an appointment to meet him today! Story
This sweet girl came to us by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services, as they were running out of space. We often pull dogs from other shelters that don’t have the luxury of time that we do at ARC. Charity is affectionate, playful and very energetic. She is also very strong and can climb fences. She has a prey drive so she cannot go to a home with cats or small dogs. We’re looking for a younger, very active family for this sweet girl. Why not make an appointment to come and meet her today!   May 2019May 7, 2024, 2:19 pm

Story
Unfortunately, Gaston’s story is another that might make you a little sad. He came to us with a bunch of furry littermates back in 2019. We found him what we thought at the time was his forever home. Fast forward four years later, and this poor little guy was returned to ARC. People aren’t always prepared to train and raise a puppy, and that was the case with Gaston. Did you know we offer behavioral training with every adoption? We want nothing more than for our animals to find a true forever home! In any case, we’d love for this playful, affectionate guy to get a second chance in a loving home. Why not come out and meet this handsome boy? Story
Beethoven is such a lovable boy. He found his way to ARC by way of Clewiston Animal Control, as they were running low on space. He loves to be cuddled and receive pets, and seems to have an endless amount of love to give. This sweet boy is hearing-impaired and will definitely require a family with a little patience. He needs someone who’ll give him a safe place to call his own. Why not complete an application today so you can meet this amazing pup. Adoption fee is $50 during our Bissell Empty the Shelters event 5/1 - 5/15!! Application must be submitted to secure an appointment! Hello, my name is Brinley! Me, my momma, and my 7 littermates were found in a preserve in Florida City but came to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue to start our new chapter. I've spent my puppyhood with the nice people at the rescue, but I need my forever family to find me! I'm playful, inquisitive, smart, and sweet. The volunteers can not get enough of my curious head tilts and little underbite! I was born around mid-April 2023 and I'm around 45 pounds now and fully grown. My $250 adoption fee has been reduced to $50 and covers vetting, deworming, up-to-date vaccines, microchip, and spay, all already done. If you are interested in adopting me please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. I will be so happy to have my own home at last.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21
