I am very sweet and well behaved - I think that’s how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I know how to sit and take treats gently. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I'd be best suited for homes without smaller high energy dogs. I don’t seem to mind the rescue cats I see on my walks! I have such a gentle and easy going personality, that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. He is 4 years old! He likes going on walks and running. He does pull on the leash but not as bad. A fenced yard is necessary due to the reason I am rehoming him. He has leash aggression that has worsened. I recommend a younger family with no elderly people in the house as his wiggling can knock them down. He knows tricks and commands! Fully house trained!

After my mother's Toy Fox Terrier, Gidget, had passed away due to old age, we soon decided that she needed a companion to keep her company while she was around the house after she had retired as a school-teacher. Upon making that decision, my parents went to a rescue where they found Misty, who is a very sweet and affectionate girl, though her previous circumstances had seemed to make her quite shy. Over time, she's come to be a loving girl, begging for head-pats and belly-pats whenever somebody comes within range of her affection, and enjoys being close to people whether they're reading or watching TV, she just wants to be involved by proximity.

This is Tiga. We’ve had her since October 11, 2022, around the time of Hurricane Ian, when we rescued her. We paid $200 for her, and we believe she was around one year old when we got her, so she should now be about 4/5 years old. She’s a Boxer mix, though we’re not exactly sure what she’s mixed with. Tiga is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She loves playing with people, is very affectionate, and has such a kind personality. She gets along well with other animals and is used to being around dogs, chickens, and turtles. She does like to chase cats, but she has never harmed one. I have a cat myself, and although she chases it sometimes, she’s never aggressive or hurtful in any way. She is vaccinated, fixed/spayed, collar and chain trained, and has never harmed anyone or anything. The reason I’m making this post is because I can no longer afford to properly care for her. I’m currently working a job that doesn’t pay enough and I’m going to enlist.
