Story
My Adoption Fee is Now Sponsored by an Anonymous Donor cuz I am Such a Good Girl!Hello! My name is Lady. Somehow, I wound up in municipal county animal services place. The angels at GOFAR heard about me and came and rescued me.I appear to be a boxer and/or mastiff mix and weigh approximately 60lbs. I am very sweet and well behaved - I think that’s how I got my name! I walk well on leash and follow the pace the volunteers set. I know how to sit and take treats gently. I really don’t like messing in my kennel; as long as we can work together to set a routine/schedule, I should do fine in the house. I am friendly with other dogs and did well in play groups with larger dogs - my rescue thinks I'd be best suited for homes without smaller high energy dogs. I don’t seem to mind the rescue cats I see on my walks! I have such a gentle and easy going personality, that the rescue thinks I would be fine in a family with children. I am looking for my furever family- someone that will love and care for me the same way I will for them. Could it be you?My $250 adoption fee is now zero thanks to a generous donor and includes all of the medical care I received, vet exams, spay and heartworm test (negative), up to date vaccines, deworming, and microchip - all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you encounter any issues with our website, please email adoptions@gofar.dog.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. If you'd like to experience all the love I have, and want to make me part of your family, please complete the adoption application by pasting this link into your browser: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sm2546&method=online_form_html&formid=21

Roy’s 70 pound bundle of live for adores attention is loyal to a fault he’s been with me since June has proven to be sweet Carly companion perfect for either family or single parent so he’s not high energy dog . Roy thrives on being by your side and loves to play with his toys sharing them generously with others. He knows basic commands like sit, stay although stay can be a bit challenging. If there’s fun to be had. He gets along well with other dogs. I know don’t how he does with cats or kids

Story
Meet Oakley 🤍 Oakley is a 7-year-old senior lady who came to us from another county and has been settling in over the past few months. She’s independent, stubborn, and very much knows what she wants—this is a dog with opinions. She has good leash manners and does best with calm, respectful handling. While Oakley isn’t immediately affectionate, she can be sweet with someone who’s willing to give her time, patience, and consistency. Once trust is built, her softer (and slightly goofy) side starts to show—especially if you discover her favorite thing: being scratched with a toilet brush, which she absolutely loves. Oakley is looking for an experienced, understanding home that appreciates a strong personality and is willing to work for that loving, cuddly side. She may not be a lap dog, but for the right person, Oakley will be a uniquely rewarding companion.

Story
Tiny is a male sealed brindle boxer who will be 1 in May. He is crate trained but not fully house broken. He is a very sweet dog, he just needs someone who has the time to train him. Boxers are super easy to train if you have the time, which I do not. I have a female and she just had four more pups I will also need new homes for so I unfortunately cannot keep all these dogs and need good homes for them. These dogs are FREE to a good home.

These pups are in Labelle, Florida too!

Sadie is a Velcro Dog and will follow you all around. She wants love and actively seeks out pets and skritches. There is no happier place for her than resting her head on your leg or curling up next to you. She deserves all the love she seeks. She may be an older lady but herbdont let that gray face fool you. She has built in zoomies and "Chewbacca talks" that show her verve for life! She walks well on a leash and loves to sniff EVERYTHING 💗 Dog friend selective but slow introductions build her confidence and allows her to get along with other dogs. She likes to wake up slowly in the morning before getting out of bed to potty. She has had ZERO accidents in the house! She is the bestest girl 💗Sunning herself on a porch is one of her favorite pastimes! Story
Ace is a 3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, who came in emaciated from neglect and struggling with skin infections, as well as heartworm disease.Ace has been selected as the first recipient of the Saoirse's Freedom Fund! This means he will be fast-tracked on the road to full medical recovery with all costs sponsored, and hopefully find him a forever new home promptly, that can give him the love and care he deserves. ____________________The Saoirse's Freedom Fund supports the often mis-understood souls of Bully Breed dogs at Caloosa Humane Society to give them the best shot at a happy, forever home, proving they are loving companions. This fund selects the most challenged candidates to help provide them needed medical, nutritional and behavioral support to get them prepared for loving new home. Once the adoptive family is identified, the fund will pay for the adoption fee and send the family home with all kinds of goodies to get them off to the best start in their new life! Supplies may include: crate, bed, food bowls, harness, leash, ID tag, toys, food and treats. Obedience training may also be included as needed.Saoirse is an Irish name meaning "freedom or liberty" (pronounced Seer-sha). Saoirse's life was a powerful story of second chances. Once homeless and neglected, she spent two years waiting to Caloosa Humane Society to find her handler, Cindy. From that moment on Saoirse's journey transformed into one filled with purpose, love and service. For four years with United Way's Beesley Paw Prints Therapy Dog Program, Saoirse touched countless lives. She completed more than 800 therapy visits, helped evaulate more than 117 therapy dog teams and earned 7 AKC titles, including the prestigious Therapy Dog Supreme. She showed up again and again with quiet patience, acceptance and joy, bringing comfort to children and families when they needed it most. Known for her expressive ears, her love of dressing up and her gentle presence, Saoirse reminded us that healing often comes without words. She was an ambassador for shelter dogs everywhere and a beautiful example of how love and compassion can truly change lives.Saoirse's Legacy will live on through her Freedom Fund at Caloosa Humane Society helping other bully breeds not only survive, but to thrive! You can donate to this fund to help Ace and other Bully Breeds at CHS! Your donations save lives!
