+1 (386) 562-8013   ADOPT MAVERICK- a sweet and energetic dog who needs a good home! I have a video of him- just ask for it and I’ll text to you This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: (386) 562-8013 Dog located in this city: Port Orange Dog’s Name: Maverick Dog’s Breed: pure bred Boxer Dog’s Age & Sex: 7 years old -male Dog’s estimated weight: 65 lbs Animals story: (where found and reason for rehoming): I recently moved to a very small house and work 12-16 hour days! There is just not enough time for him and I really want to find him a loving home ! He deserves better than what I can provide. Personality: Maverick is energetic and loves to be outside. He loves to play ball, loves to sunbathe and go on long walks, and just loves any type of attention. He wants to be around anybody!  He is great with kids, some cats, and  some dogs. He currently lives with a cat and another dog. He can be aggressive but ONLY  towards other animals more of a food aggression or a dominance trait. He may do better in an ONLY dog home and with someone who is home majority of the time where he is the center of attention. He does well on a leash too. He does like to sleep in bed with me, but also has his own dog bed that he enjoys sleeping on. His favorite toy is squeaky pigs/chickens and squeaky balls (He comes with his dog bed, favorite toys and bowls). He does have lump on his left leg but the doctor states it is just a fatty cyst and not to be concerned. House Trained and/or crate trained? Yes he is but we do not use a crate since juvenile age. Any bad habits or things that need to be worked on with him? Some agression but not often.  Very dominant. May be better suited as only dog. Dog good with kids, cats, or other dogs? Yes he is …. Prefer no super young kids though. Animals vetting history (neutered/spayed, vaccinations, microchipped)? Yes he is neutered and microchipped. Has an appointment on 12/6/25 for rabies vaccine to be updated Any Supplies that go with pet (food, leash, collar, bedding, toys): all his toys, leash and collar, his dog bed and food bowls if needed IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a leash and collar (if one is not provided) 2) Adoption fee of $10 to ensure a good home 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Drivers License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) Call/text me if interested in this pet: +1 (386) 562-8013

Story
This sweet boxer mix was adopted recently at an adoption event at the Halifax Humane Society in Daytona Beach. His previous family had to surrender him there due to unfortunate circumstances and he was in the shelter for a while. My wife saw his face at the adoption event and knew he couldn’t stay there at the shelter. She decided to take it upon herself to adopt him. However, our household is expecting a newborn in a few months and we already have our hands full with 6 other pets to take care of! It’s already been proven difficult to take care of all the animals, plus Sunny, under one roof these past few days, and with our baby on the way, it wouldn’t be fair to him to not get the attention and love he deserves as we focus our attention to our growing family. Please consider adopting him as he would love to be a part of your family! ❤️

Story
Apply to Adopt Me!   Asha is a 2yo, 56lb. boxer mix, with a sleek black coat, white chest, white around her muzzle and four white paws. Her trainer says she definitely has a boxer personality. She was recently saved from euthanasia at the shelter. She had a GI foreign body that looked like a round cylinder on x-rays. Once out of the shelter and safely with rescue, she had surgery and turns out the foreign body in her stomach was a small billiard ball. She bounced back from the surgery like a champ. She is such a goofy girl and so happy - her tail is constantly wagging. Everyone she meets is her best friend. She LOVES to cuddle and snuggle with her person. She just loves to be loved on and is so sweet. She is house trained, walks well on leash, rides great in the car, sleeps through the night and is very treat motivated, taking treats gently. She is currently in a board and train program learning all her basic commands, crate training and what's acceptable for a dog her size. Her trainer says that she is extremely smart, a willing learner, and is doing great. She is not a big barker. Asha loves chasing and retrieving a tennis ball. Asha is heartworm positive at this time, and is on the rescue's slow kill protocol, which we can explain that process to any interested applicant. She can enjoy regular activities. Heart worm disease is contracted from an infected mosquito and can not be transmitted to another dog. We are requiring either a fenced-in yard for her or someone who can be active with her with a couple of walks a day. She enjoys sunning for short periods, but prefers to be outside only if her person is outside with her. She's a huge people dog. Her adoption fee is sponsored. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Asha, please complete an application and tell us more about your family.      December 27, 2025, 6:22 pm

Story
I am a sweet, happy, and goofy boy who is just patiently waiting to be your new best friend! I enjoy going for walks and playing in the yard. I also love making new friends - both human and canine! I get along great with other dogs, and I have an affectionate side, too - so snuggles are my favorite. I’ve still got that fun, youthful energy, but I also love just hanging out and cuddling. I am also housebroken! I’d thrive in a home where I can get lots of love and attention. I’m sweet, smart, and promise to make you smile every single day. If you are looking for a loyal, easygoing goofball companion who is past all the puppy chaos, but still full of life, I would love to be your new best friend! Weighs around 60 lbs - House-trained! - Great with other dogs! - Affectionate, loving boy!

These pups are in New Smyrna Beach, Florida too!
