Story
Voldemort is a 9 month old male American Staffordshire Terrier mix, who is sure to win your heart with his shy lovable ways! He is the sweetest most gentle baby, although initially unsure of new people … he will sometimes even do a belly crawl to meet someone new, as if he is just so anxious to please. Voldemort has an endearing way of leaning in while you pet him, and sometimes will even end up almost in your lap just so that he can be as close as possible to you! And in case you’re wondering, he got his name ONLY because his face markings as a puppy looked like a skull, but certainly NOT because of his personality! This boy is all about love and everything sweet. Voldemort is young and eager to learn, so will thrive in a home wanting to provide additional training to let him gain confidence and blossom into an even more amazing companion. If you’re ready to welcome a beautiful pup full of love into your life, Voldemort is eagerly waiting to start your life together! Be sure to meet this precious boy soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Cindy Lou is 48 pounds, is long-legged and she loves to go for walks. She appears to have had some training and is fairly responsive. We have stopped her from jumping. She gets along great with her foster's dog, Orso (13 year old rescue from here in Newnan). CL's tail is always wagging and she loves attention. She does bark when someone comes to the door. This is just a wonderful little girl and as sweet as she can be. Someone will be lucky to get her. She would be a good family dog.

Story
My partner at the time and I received Kash from someone whose dog had given birth to an unexpected liter. He was only about six to eight weeks old when we brought him home. Kash is five years old. He was born around March 2020. Kash is housetrained, SUPER intelligent, playful with little and big humans. He is also friendly with other dogs and curious about other animals like squirrels, birds, and rabbits. He loves to retrieve his toy rope and tennis ball. He loves to cuddle and is oh so loving. He is not fond of bath time, but will reluctantly oblige. He knows about 10 words and phrases and turn his head when he recognizes them. I have to spell out a few words just so that he does not bark me to death. For his new home, I am looking for a home with children. He is aware of children and babies and is super gentle with them. He needs a home with lots of love and warm hugs!

Story
Peaches is a sweet, 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold and a calm, playful spirit. Weighing in at around 60 lbs and spayed, shes the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal friend who can enjoy gentle walks, relaxing naps, and the occasional road trip (she handles car rides like a pro). Peaches is well trained and housebroken, responding nicely to commands like sit, paw, and crate. Shes comfortable on a leash and has been taught to respect invisible fencing, so you can feel secure while she enjoys her time outdoors. While her energy level is moderateideal for both playtime and downtimeshe does best as the only dog in the home, as she isnt fond of other female dogs. Peaches came to us after her previous owner passed away while on vacation, and shes now looking for a new family that can offer her the love, stability, and second chance she truly deserves.

Story
Meet Maggie, the lovable senior dog with a blue coat and a heart of gold. This wise and charming canine companion is looking for a forever home to spend her golden years in comfort and love. Maggie waits so patiently for a chance to go outside to go potty, and she seems confused by her new shelter environment - she definitely belongs in a home.Gentle on the leash, Maggie delights in a leisurely stroll. She really comes alive when she gets outside; she may be an older girl, but she is so happy she`ll bound around and jog for joy! Maggie appreciates new friends spending time with her and takes all pets gratefully, but what would really make her day would be for a new friend to take her home!
