Story
Meet beautiful Betty! She was abandoned and arrived at the shelter on 2/12; she's now available for adoption. The volunteers have really enjoyed getting to know this sweet gal! They describe her as affectionate and friendly. She has such a fun-loving personality and she's very playful! Betty is also attentive to the people around her. It appears as though Betty had puppies not long ago, though none arrived at the shelter with her. Betty will soon be taking the "no more puppies" pledge so that she can work on herself. This loving girl has had a rough go lately and we really want to make sure she only experiences love and the best care from here on out. Betty is approximately 6 years old, and she weighs 45 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Betty in run 405; her ID # is 653633. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information.
