Valhalla is an approximately 3–year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix girl that we thought had found her forever home, but unfortunately has made her way back to us after showing that she would be much better suited to life in an only-dog home. Valhalla is a sweet little goof ball with so much personality! She loves to play with her family, and keeps everyone laughing as she appeases everyone’s need for pets and snuggles. She’s definitely people and attention driven, as she is the biggest people pleaser you will ever meet! Valhalla does need to be the only pet in the home. She has shown that her prey drive is too great to be around little dogs or cats, and she is a bit too jealous of even bigger dogs in her space. She is potty trained and crate trained, but does need a secure fenced in yard in her forever home. Unfortunately, we do not have any open foster homes for Valhalla to come back to, so she is having to make her way track to boarding until a foster or adopter can be found. This can be quite challenging, as only-animal homes are very hard to come by. However, we promise if you take a chance on this girl, she will repay the love ten-fold! If you can open your home to foster this girl, you can apply to foster through the link in our bio! Fostering is FREE, as we take care of all food, vetting, crate, collars, leashes, etc. you could need! You just provide the love and the occasional ride to adoption events. She came from the streets of Kentucky, ending up in an overcrowded shelter before Saved By Fate Rescue stepped in to give her the second chance she truly deserved. Anya is loving, gentle, and playful. She adores being near her person but also enjoys playing with other dogs. She takes corrections well, loves to zoom around the yard, and shows no signs of resource guarding. (She just eats fast so a slow feeder bowl is recommended!) Shes done great with other dogs - male, female, big, and small - and was cat-tested with good results. She recently met some children and did well with them too! (We knew she would). CeCe is one of our longest rescue residents and has a SPONSORED adoption fee! She's a really sweet, petite girl who just wants to find her own humans to love. Her foster family describes her as, adorable, playful, low-maintenance, and affectionate! Although we dont know for sure because she was found as a stray in late 2023, we believe CeCe is about 5-6 years old. She weighs 45 pounds. CeCe has loved every human she meets, including children, and does well in public. She tends to be selective about her canine friends but can slowly warm up to certain dogs. She seems to prefer older dogs who can simply co-exist with her. We think CeCe would do best with only 1-2 dogs maximum in the home, especially if theyre laid back. We recently cat-tested CeCe and she did well! If her hopeful forever home has a cat(s), slow intros and dog-savvy cats would definitely be best.
