Leon was adopted out by us two years ago when his family said he wasn't doing well with the other dogs in the home. Leon now knows as Leo is now 6 yrs old and he was adopted to a wonderful person but unfortunately they passed away. Now poor Leon-Leo is looking for another home. Leon is very playful. He likes to run at the park and play ball for hours. He enjoys lounging around the house on his bed or couch and would love to cuddle with you! He does well with men, women, and children. Meet BERTHA Bertha was found on the street by a rescuer. Lucky for her they have taken very good care of her and now looking for a long-term home. Bertha is 8 months old and about 60 lbs. We rescued Jett in July of 2022. We thought that our other rescue dog needed a companion. Jett was uneasy with her at first, but they began to get along and still do. We quickly discovered that Jett has anxiety. He has recently been prescribed Reconcile, which has begun to make a huge difference. Jett used to bark and get quite worked up on walks when he sees other dogs. The Reconcile has helped with that. He has a very sweet disposition with our family, including our two boys ages 8 and 12, but he gets a little bit anxious when we have company over. He has a lot of energy and loves walks and to run around a big backyard. I think Jett would do wonderfully as an only dog with a big backyard. We really love Jett and have tried everything we are capable of to make our arrangement work. Unfortunately, it’s difficult for us to travel and get dog care since Jett gets nervous at doggy daycare. We have two young boys and want to be able to travel with them.

In summer of 2020 Arwen was rescued from a very bad hoarding situation. In a pack of 27 dogs she received very little attention or care and was forced to compete for food, water, and shelter. She has come so far in her time in foster but can still be timid around humans. She is dog friendly but due to her background not excessively affectionate towards her humans and would love someone who will be patient and understanding that she is probably never going to be a lap dog. She would love a low activity, quiet home with a dog door to a yard. She does hang around her foster and even sleeps in her room but doesn't require a lot of attention given her past and would love a home where she could just be.
