Sir Niko is a sweetheart and definitely a lover. He loves attention and being a part of the family. He loves to cuddle and play ball. Niko is very mild mannered and gets along well especially with smaller dogs. He loves kids and the trail of snacks they leave behind. He's been a great companion and we'll truly miss him!!!

🐾 Meet Niko — A Gentle, Affectionate Soul Looking for a Soft Place to Land 🐾 Niko is a 7-year-old neutered Staffordshire who came to us after his owner had to move out of state. Though his world has changed, this sweet boy’s heart is as warm as ever — he just needs someone patient and loving to help him feel secure again. According to his previous owner, Niko has lived comfortably with other dogs and kids, is housebroken, and has no experience with cats. Here at the shelter, staff have noticed that Niko can seem timid at first but once he realizes he’s safe, he warms up quickly and seeks out comfort, pets, and affection. He truly wants to bond — he just needs a gentle hand and a calm environment to help him open up. Niko is a proud member of the Plays Well with Other Dogs club. Niko can often be found in our play groups, running, chasing and enjoying group play time. Niko is a strong and large boy and can jump straight up in the air higher than you'd imagine. He's always excited to go for a walk or a group play session and would be great with other dogs he can pass the time with. Niko does have some ongoing skin issues that will require continued treatment and medication, so his future family should be prepared to keep up with his care. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted companion who just needs a little reassurance and love, Niko may be the perfect addition to your home. Come meet him and let him show you his soft, sweet side. 💙

Meet Patch (#14716)! 🐾 Patch is a high-energy, big-hearted boy who came to us through no fault of his own after his family had to move. This strong and enthusiastic pup has the energy (and strength!) to match his larger-than-life personality and is looking for a home that can keep up with him. Patch thrives with lots of enrichment, exercise, and structure to help him burn off his energy in positive ways. He is a very strong puller on leash, so he’ll do best with an experienced adopter who is ready to continue his training and can confidently handle his strength. Because of this, a home with older children is recommended. While Patch is very social and friendly with people, he is still learning how to properly greet other dogs and can be reactive when meeting canine friends. While he has interacted appropriately off leash with other large dog, he much prefers the company of a person than playing with another dog. For now, he would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he can be the center of attention and continue working on his dog-to-dog skills. If you have a decent-sized yard, time for training, and are looking for an active, social companion to adventure through life with, Patch could be the perfect match for you! 🐶💙

Coco was abandoned apartment by her family and they posted all over asking anybody to just come get her. they left the door open for anybody who wanted to come and grab her and we saw the post on Facebook and went and took her so that she wouldn’t be in the wrong hands. Coco was with another family before this and they gave her away. She has now thrived is doing great is such a sweet loving dog, but she is clingy so whoever adopts her must understand that she will take some time to adjust. She lived with seven kids before this family so she she’s great with kids. She does have some energy, but she walks great on the leash and she listens to all that is asked of her she is potty trained does not destroy anything in the home alone. she will Not too well with cats or small dogs, as she has a hi prey Drive she is tiny and looks very young for her age even though she weighs 60 pounds she’s compact
