Meet Tia!Tia is a gentle senior girl hoping to find a soft place to land for her golden years. She was found as a stray and brought to our shelter, and now she`s ready for the comfort and stability of a loving home.This sweet lady has a calm, kind nature and would be perfectly content lounging on the couch with you, or joining you for a nice, long walk (she`s a rockstar on the leash!). Tia`s ideal home would be one where she can be the only pet, but she is open to meeting older kids and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an easy going, loyal friend.If you`re interested in meeting Tia, she is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. Mocha is a female pittie mix that was found as a stray who recently had puppies. An elderly women found her and took care of her for a few months and now is unable to care for her and is looking to rehome mocha. Mocha is great with kids. Mocha is crate trained and potty trained. She listens when she is off leash. Mocha is very cuddly. She loves playing fetch with a ball. Anyone would be lucky to have mocha as their dog!

Theo is a gorgeous red and white boy that is a gentle giant. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 72 lbs. Shockingly, Theo has been owned since a puppy, but his owner left on a “vacation” and never came back. The owner’s mom took over his care, but the gentle giant Theo is so submissive, all of the other dogs were bullying him to the point they were ganging up on him and attacking him. The new owner contacted us for help as her dogs attacked him so badly, he needed veterinary care as he was covered in blood and limping. We got him to the veterinarian where he received the care he needed, and we knew we could not put him back in that home, or death was imminent for him. So now, Theo is in a foster home, fully healed and now he is ready for his forever home! Theo is so submissive, gentle, kind and loving. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He would be wonderful with children of all ages because of how sweet he is. He is fostered with other dogs, and even though he was bullied and attacked, he still loves being around other dogs! He gets along with the smallest and biggest dogs. Please just make sure your dog or dogs are not bullies when considering adoption, as we do not want Theo to go through history again. Theo has met his current fosters kitties, and he does great with them. If anything, he is afraid of the kitties! He is house and crate trained. He is not a big fan of the crate, and you must give him a push to get in it, but once he is in, he sleeps through the night. We think even without a crate, he would do wonderfully sleeping on the couch or even your bed! Theo does amazing on a leash and would be great in a home that is calmer to medium active. He is not an overly active dog and is content with neighborhood walks or even just hanging out in the backyard. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, calm, loving, and all around perfect boy, please consider adopting Theo. Theo will be neutered, he is heart worm negative, current on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.
