You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Main Email CARE (caretoadopt@gmail.com), (803) 622-9813 for more information about this pet. The most accurate and up to date information about adoptable pets is on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org. American Bully/Staffordshire TerrierWaylon was rescued & adopted by a woman who sadly passed away soon after. He was surrendered to CARE by her family. He does well in a crate, walks well on leash, and is house trained.Waylon would do best as the only pet & no small kids. He's sweet & playful, but does resource guard toys. We do not give him toys for this reason and are working on the behavior. He likely never had toys before, or not in a long time, and puts a very high value on them. Waylon is food motivated, is learning to take treats gently and does well with training. Waylon loves an adventure, loves to be loved on, keeps his nose to the ground often (would excel at nose work!). This sweet pea is also quite happy relaxing by himself or snuggling on the couch with people too.Adoption Fee: $75.00 Waylon is currently living in a boarding facility. The staff love him dearly and try to spend extra time with him where they can. He deserves a forever family. He is heartworm NEGATIVE. A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. Out of state adoptions okay. All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention and treatment if needed, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org. Breeds are sometimes known, but sometimes our best educated guess.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.www.caretoadopt.org Adoption saves lives! The most accurate and up to date information about adoptable pets is on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org. Gentle soul!Meet Crunchy!Adoption Fee $150.00Hello! My Name is Crunchy Roll, but I go by Crunchy for short. My foster parents named me that because when they found me wandering on the side of the road, I was covered in demodecitc mange (noncontagious) and almost bald. My skin was bumpy and well, Crunchy! Thankfully, they took care of me, CARE provided the veterinary care I needed, and now I'm all better! All my hair has grown back and they tell me I'm very handsome. I love to be petted, cuddled, and played with. My favorite place to be is wherever you are, or on the couch. I also quite like the couch! I love everyone I meet, both people and animals. I live with my foster parents, plus 2 other dogs and we are best friends! I've met cats before too. I was confused by them but I can get along with them too.I like to go for walks and meet new people. I LOVE TOYS! I like to have about 10 toys scattered on the ground that I bounce between like a ping pong ball. I think I would do good in a home with children. They are fun and I love to play with them! As long as you are willing to spend time with me and love me, I don't care who you are. I spend most of my time outside currently because my foster parents have a small house, but a big yard. For this reason, I'm still working on potty training. But I'm getting it! If you hang bells on the door, I'll ring them to let you know I need to go outside. If looking to add this sweet boy to your family, please email your application today! Story
Doodle Bug is a precious, super sweet girl. She is a big love bug (hence her name). She is a happy, energetic gal whose always ready for a new adventure but if she can crawl into your lap for pets and kisses she'll lay there quiet as a mouse as long as your petting hand will last. She is playful and loves to play with other dogs and humans. She is smart and affectionate and would be a great dog for nose work or agility. If you're looking for a buddy, Doodlebug is your gal!
