Sassie is nervous in new situations and around new people but will warm up quickly once she feels safe. While she sometimes seems like a serious girl, she has a very silly and playful side. She likes to be near people she knows well and will snuggle up to give them hugs. She will do best in a home without young children since she can be nervous around loud noises or in overwhelming situations.

FINN is one of the calmest, kindest souls we have met. He is a loving boy who wants nothing more than to please his humans. Story
Mac walked into my hotel off the streets, and into my heart. He was abandoned so I took him to get his shots, chipped, and neutered at a local shelter and I fostered him ever since. He is the sweetest, most lovable, and precocious pup I have ever known. He plays during the day and cuddles with me every night. Mac is very smart house trained, and continues to be teachable and trained. He has a lot a energy and loves to play, but also as a pup takes frequent naps. I taught him basic command and he is a quick learner. Mac is great loyal and loving, he would make a great addition to a loving family. I am moving for work on a cruse ship for work in the upcoming months months and want to find him a a great owner or family to adopt him.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Arizona is a large chestnut brindle LOVER with extraordinary ears who is so ready to go home with the perfect family for her. Her ideal family is active, loving and experienced with high-energy dogs. Arizona loves walking, running, playing, swimming and go, go, going with her favorite humans. She thrives in a well structured environment with a solid routine. She is sweet, affectionate, a great listener and gives the best kisses. Arizona is the longest resident dog at HES, but in all of her time here she has gotten to learn so many new skills and tricks while she waits for the right family for her. She is now the most classically obedient dog around. She will gladly show off how she can sit, stay, down, heel, go to bed and shake hands. She is amazing on a leash and loves to play with discs and Jolly Balls. She is house broken, does well in a crate and enjoys car rides. She's great at learning new tricks too so we hope you are ready for some fun! This sweet baby girl needs extra training and tlc when meeting new people and controlling her reactivity. She doesn't love strangers and isn't a fan of eye contact from people she doesn't know. She can get vocal when she's scared. Arizona can do great with other dogs, as long as they are the right fit for her fun loving, outspoken, rowdy play style. No cats or children please. To make sure that Arizona's transition to her forever home is smooth sailing Dog Wizard of Chattanooga will offer free training classes for her and her forever family.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Addie is such a cutie! She can be shy with new people but is still very social. She loves going for walks with the volunteers. She will play with other tolerant, playful dogs but tends to overcorrect and cause trouble when she is overly excited. We believe she can have select doggy friends but she should not live with other dogs. Addie has lived with children previously and would probably do well in a home with them.
