His name is Tucker. He is a big baby. He has been around the baby. He is cautious when people come near. Lets you know when someone is near.. He is use to the family but not other people or animals. Story
Meet Honeydew!Honeydew is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier!Honeydew was brought to Fox Valley Humane as a stray. Upon intake it was observed that Honeydew had obtained injuries to her rear legs, it is suspected she was struck by a car. After doing diagnostic images it was determined that Honeydew would need an FHO surgery, which is a procedure that removes the femoral head and neck of the femur to eliminate bone-on-bone contact of the hip. Because of this surgery Honeydew needs a home that can help her heal to be the best playful girl she is!Honeydew is just as sweet as her name suggests and promises to be your perfect pet!**Honeydew is not currently being housed at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting with her, contact adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org**

Story
Apollo is a handsome boy looking for his forever home! Apollo is a two year old male who we believe is an American Staffordshire terrier mix. He is a sweet boy who seems to love being around people. Apollo's favorite things are Jolly Balls, rope toys, and playing tug-a-war. He would do best in a home without small animals or cats due to his excitment and size. He has been getting tested with other dogs and is doing fairly well. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html)- Our shelter no longer has open visiting hours, so a pre-approved application and scheduled appointment is needed prior to meeting any of our animals.

Story
Adora-bull! That's how we'd describe Iliana, (Lily) our beautiful Staffordshire Terrier mix. She'd love to join your family! Lily is looking for an experienced dog owner to provide structure and snuggles! She'd do best in a home without kitty-cats as she likes to give chase and play! Lily does well with most dogs, when given a proper and slow introduction. She is a little wary of newcomers, but blossoms quickly when allowed patience to adjust on her terms. Lily loves to bestow sloppy doggie kisses upon her favorite caretakers. She just enjoys human company! Lily would excel in a home with a fenced yard so can chase after toys to her heart's content. If you're a seasoned dog owner with patience and love to spare, please fill out an online adoption application! We know this adora-bull girl is adopta-bull!

Story
If you're ready to meet the happiest dog, come meet Chapo! This handsome fellow is the definition of resilient. He was hit by a car in Texas and lost the use of his back legs, but Chapo doesn't dwell on the skills he had- he's just interested in showing off the skills he has! He scoots on his hinder, he zooms in his K-9 kart... he is raring and ready to roll! Although he can zoom and roll, Chapo prefers shorter walks and then cuddles with his favorite humans. This beautiful boy LOVES to snuggle and receive human attention and affection. If he's not cuddling close to you, he loves to sleep on thick blankets in the sun, dreaming of treats, (which he takes very gently.) Chapo is friendly and loving and just the best boy. He's an inspiration to all who meet him. But to him, he's just a regular dog. A regular dog with a rad set of wheels! If you have a little extra time and patience in your schedule for a special needs dog, Chapo will thank you by being the best, most loyal friend you could ever ask for. Apply online if you'd love to meet him and hopefully load up his K-9 cart and take him home!

Story
As we highlight our Nervous Nelly puppies today, we can't forget Paisley! Paisley came from the same situation as Kyra back in November. Like Kyra and Hola, Paisley has been very slow and hesitant to trust people but absolutely loves other dogs. Paisley on the other hand, does seem to be taking a few extra steps in the right direction so far but that doesn't mean we're out of the weeds yet. Very recently Paisley has started following the other dogs into the fenced portion of the yard, and doing great at doing her business while out there! That's not to say we still don't have our share of accidents indoors. But, it has been a massive improvement. Paisley even looks and starts to come inside when foster mom calls for her and her friends. The key is Though, do not stand next to the door when she wants in. Avert your eyes and pay no mind or she'll run the other way! Our new favorite pastime is snuggles on the couch. Her massive milestone was not only no longer running away if foster mom came to sit down too. But, now Paisley will hop up on the couch when her foster is already sitting down! Once she even sees the other dogs getting extra attention, Paisley slowly wiggles her way closer hoping for loving too. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Just don't make it too obvious. She's more nervous than a teenager on a first date. Paisley will gladly take treats and seems to forget she's a scary cat, if you're enjoying a snack to yourself by her. Her daily enjoyment comes from antagonizing the crabby dogs here. The louder and grumpier they yell, the better! Like the others, Paisley will need a very very patient and understanding home. A fenced yard will be needed as she will not move an inch on a leash yet. You might as well tie off to a boat anchor. &#226&#154&#147&#239&#184&#143 adoption fee 400.00 April 25, 2024, 7:17 pm
