Story
Sweet Marvin found himself all alone in an overcrowded shelter. We just KNEW we had to save this guy and bring him to Colorado for a second chance at a happy ending :)Interested in this pup? The first step is to fill out the adoption application on our website!! aaanimalrescue.org Check out our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend! We also host adoption events almost every Saturday at our clinic, 1721 W Harmony unit 102 Fort Collins Co 80526 10am-1pm! Thousands of dogs and puppies are sitting in overcrowded, loud shelters. AAAR is giving our best efforts to rescue as many dogs/pups that are otherwise left to die or live their lives at a shelter alone. We need the communities help!! Please consider fostering, volunteering, adopting, donating, and spreading awareness! Most of these dogs and pups have never experienced love from humans before being brought to shelters. Consider falling in love with a rescue dog, and showing them what life is about! Please email us at allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.comBreed and size disclosure: As a rescue all of our dogs come to us from high-kill shelters or other rescues, so we do not get a lot of background or information on these dogs. We occasionally receive the mother with the puppies, but in most cases both parents are unknown. Because of this we do not know the full breeding of the dogs. We are required to list the dogs based on the breeds provided to us on their records, but they are all mixed breeds as far as we know, and we cannot guarantee the actual breeds of any of these dogs. Since the full breeding of the dogs is unknown we can also only give you an educated guess on the full-grown size of the dogs. All of the current information we have on the dogs is listed in their bio above. More information may be available over email, since a lot of the fosters turn in report cards on how the dog has done in their care. Adoption Process: If you are interested in adopting from us, the first step of our adoption process is to fill out an application online at http://aaanimalrescue.org/adoption_app.html. It takes us up to 24-48 hours to process your application and get back to you, via email. Applications turned in Friday afternoon or Saturday morning will not be seen until the following Monday. We do have applications on site, but are not always able to approve them at that time and many of the dogs will already have holds on them, so we suggest you fill out an application prior to attending a meet/greet. We can place a hold on one dog per approved applicant after a deposit fee has been received, please do not ask to hold a dog if you have not turned in an application and been approved. If you do not place a hold we cans till schedule a meet/greet, we just cannot guarantee availability of the dog, first serve basis. If you already have an approved application on file, there will just be more paperwork and the adoption fee at the meet/greet, but you will be able to take home the dog/puppy that day! Since we are foster based and not a shelter, our dogs are only available to meet with an appointment scheduled or at an adoption event!

Story
Rocky is a 7 yeas old Pitbull/German Shepherd mix, and weighs around 100 lbs. He is good with cats, dogs and has been around kids. He was crate trained but I have not felt the need to put him in a crate for the last 3 years. He’s been left in the house by himself for long periods of time and has not destroyed anything. He likes to follow his person around and be with them. He lived with a male Pitbull before, and has been living with 2 female dogs, a Wolf hybrid and a Husky mix. He’s not leash trained and needs work on leash reactivity. He’s not a fan of rough housing and uses his voice. He is currently located in Loveland.

Story
Hello, my name is Toffee and I am a sweet young lady who is looking for a home! I arrived at the shelter as a stray so my full history isn`t known, while in the shelter I have been bubbly and affectionate with all staff and volunteers that I have met. I love to jump and wiggle around so I will need a home without children under the age of 12 years so I don`t accidentally knock over any little ones. I have been selective with my canine friends while in the shelter and can be afraid of some dogs so I will need a home without other dogs. Come and meet me today!

Story
I acquired Emma when she was 8 weeks old. A friend of mine told me that his friend was giving away Bullterrier puppies and I always wanted a Bullterrier. Therefore, I traveled to Texas to obtain my dream dog. Emma and I have been together for almost 2 years and she is an extremely smart dog. She learns super quick and she knows many different tricks, a very easy-to-train dog. Emma is very active as well as she can be calm. She is more Bullterrier than anything else, so be prepare to laugh when her sparky mode activates! I have two cats and Emma loves them, sometimes, she plays a little to rough with them but she learned how to treat them. Emma is very friendly and never has bitten anyone . Emma is not aggressive at all, and she will enjoy play time and workout.

Story
Appallo here is a good dog needing lots of time and attention. He likes to be the king of the castle. He has been fixed and has had both cherry eyes removed. He is a good boy and is a bulldozer when he gets excited. Loves attention and rolling around in the dirt, getting all dusty after getting freshly washed and handsome at the groomer. He is kennel trained.
