Aurora is a stunning medium-haired beauty who came to us a little matted and very scared. Despite her rough start, she has revealed herself to be incredibly sweet and gentle. She is easy to handle and naturally calm, though she will likely choose to hide at first while she takes time to feel safe and build trust. Aurora is not aggressive at all—just a shy soul who needs patience, kindness, and a quiet space to truly blossom. She could do very well being adopted with her brother Zorro or into a home with other friendly cats. Aurora is also comfortable around dogs, especially those who respect her space and allow her to move at her own pace. With time and love, she will make a truly special companion. ##2609911##

I’m a curious, sweet, and affectionate kitty who loves perching on windowsills to watch the world go by and playing with my favorite toys. I’ll happily rub up against you and adore being petted on my head and rump—sometimes I even give gentle love bites and love to make muffins! I can be a bit shy at first, so I need someone patient who will let me come to them when I’m ready. Once I trust you, I’m incredibly sweet and loving. I’m not a fan of being picked up, but once I feel safe, I’ll cuddle up with you and might even curl up in your lap. A home without dogs would probably be best for me I have met one male cat before and really enjoyed his company. ##2360920##

Story
Loki has been with me for a long time, I've had him since 2012. He does ok with dogs, buts it’s been a few years since he’s been around them and he does ok with cats. I have another cat that he lives with, but he does play rough and likes to chase her. He likes cuddling, he likes being with people and he used to do really well at the vet. My ex used to be very mean to him, so he flinches a bit and tends to run if you raise your voice. I kept him after the divorce, but I can’t keep up with the vet bills. He needs his shots and needs imaging for his stomach, since he vomits too often. I was happy to save him from my ex but I feel like I’m not giving him a good home because of his medical needs. The adoption fee is waive-able of course, I just don’t want him to end up in a bad home. He meows a lot, too, I know some people prefer quiet cats. He’s a little dog-like. He doesn’t like little kids much since he’s older now, but he used to love them.
