Story
Micky came into my life November of last year. He was 3 months old, bright, bubbly, and the most affectionate and sweet boy. However, Micky has gradually gotten worse and worse liver and GI problems following an e coli infection June of this year. He was vomiting daily for the months of August, September and October, but following a food change he no longer vomits. He weighs 3-4lbs down from 6lb, needs daily medications, and would need a feeding tube and attentive care, but between an extremely busy job it being unreasonable for me to pursue further treatment, it is infeasible for me to keep him for the foreseeable future as of now. I only just graduated college and moved out to Boulder. This is why I am looking to rehome him. He is an extremely strong, clever, and good boy--he loves going outside, he's extremely handleable and never bites. Loves to find innovative parkour routes. At a year and a half old, I don't think he, or I am quite ready to say goodbye.

Story
Meet Ornch and Greta! This delightful duo is a sweet, older pair searching for a peaceful retirement home where they can finally relax and enjoy their golden years. They are thriving in a quiet part of the shelter and we`ve seen their sweet personalities shine as they`ve settled in and felt safe and loved. This bonded brother and sister are a package deal, looking for an adopter ready to offer the calm, predictable life they both deserve. They long for cozy blankets, gentle pets, and a quiet lap to call their own. While they love to snuggle and are very sweet, like most cats, they may sometimes need their own space as they adjust to their new surroundings. With a little time and a peaceful atmosphere, they will surely become a loving and affectionate part of their new family. To help them find a low stress household, HSBV will only rehome them to a family without children or with children over the age of 14.
