We have two Anatolian Shepherds that we are needing to rehome. They are a beautiful brindle color, brothers, a little over a year old. These two are very true to their breed. Very loyal sweet dogs. Pictured is Abel. He is the bigger of the two and acts as more of the alpha. He is the main gaurdian dog. Always alerts us when there is someone or something near. Cain is the lover of the two. He will jump and lay in your lap if you let him. They are both great with kids and strangers once we allow the strangers into our home. They will play with eachother until they fall asleep. They are scheduled to be neutered in a couple weeks unless a new owner wants them intact and lets us know quickly. We love them and our very sad to have to find them a new home. Under new circumstances and we need move. They do well as outside dogs, though are house trained regarding bathroom. They need a home with land where they can roam and do a job like protect your property from predators.

My favorite place to sleep: On the sofa, a dog bed or human bed or under the bed My favorite activity is: Playing fetch with squeaky balls and playing with my toys My favorite snack is: Anything I can get my mouth on I get along with / like: Being Alone I do not get along with / like: Big Dogs, Little Dogs, Cats, Birds I'm scared of: New people, it takes some time for me to warm up My foster parent(s) describe me as: I'm a shy girl but loving to my person. I'm happy and I have a wiggle butt!! I do need to be in a home as an ONLY dog. I'm ok with dogs outside of my home, but definitely no small dogs. I have a small growth on one of my mammaries that has been tested and is benign. Be sure to be diligent about picking up my poop right away, or I will eat it! My best day would be to: Getting to run and play for hours with a human whose arm never gets tired. Then nap for a few. Taking a nice walk and stopping to smell everything. Other tidbits about me: I am looking for my forever home with people who I can bond with. I'm a bit shy with people and need time to warm up to them. I'm pretty active for a Great Dane. Story

I'm a strong and active boy who thinks I'm a lap dog. I get excited when it's time to go on walks, but then once we're walking, I'm calm. I do get excited when I meet kids, but after I will calm down and I leave them alone, unless they keep playing with me. Little kids might be afraid of me because of my size and run away from me and I think that they want to play, so just watch them. I would do best in a home with older children. My best day would be to: Going for a car ride to a park to go for a walk and then come home and nap. Other tidbits about me: I do fine being left out to roam the house when no one is home, because all I do is lay on the couch. I like being introduced to other dogs slowly and properly, otherwise I get over-excited. If, when I first meet new people and they have sunglasses on, I can get scared. As I am a pretty big boy, I can be strong when I get excited, so you need to be ready if you have the leash. I am not really interested in toys, but there are times when I do get the urge. I do slobber, so make sure to keep towels around.
