Story
Well hello there! I'm Ursine! All good things come in big packages, right? That's definitely true in my case! I'm a giant, 125 pound teddy bear looking for a family to share all of my slobbery love with! The benefits of adopting a slightly older dog like me is that I'm already a pro at house manners, and I even have experience living with other dogs and kids. My favorite hobbies include going on daily walks, playing tug, getting lots of belly rubs, and playing with tennis balls! I really love my tennis balls! I also enjoy chilling at home and having a snuggle session. I would like to meet any potential doggy siblings before going home to ensure a good fit. I can't wait to meet you! Thanks to Grey Muzzle, my adoption fee is FREE!Meet me at AAWL's Main Shelter!25 N. 40th StPhoenix AZ 85034602-273-6852Adoption Hours:Monday - ClosedTuesday - Friday & Sunday - 11:30am - 6:00pmSaturday - 10:30am - 6:00pm.AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

Story
What’s the difference between Penny and a potato? Penny is adoptable! Penny checks all of our boxes; cute, chubby and cuddly, which is why we knew we just had to save her from being euthanized in the shelter.. Penny's personality is larger than life...and so is her physique. While we love every wrinkle and roll on her, Penny is considered to be obese, which of course, comes with health concerns. We have had her thoroughly tested for thyroid or any underlying issues, but her weight seems to be due to diet. Hey, the girl likes to eat...and we can relate! Penny is on a special diet and exercise plan to help her shed some of those “lbs” and get in shape. She’s taking her diet and exercise regime very seriously and hopes to be slimmer by summer. Hot girl summer, here comes Penny! Penny's rustic brown colored coat and oval shape are a remarkable resemblance to a potato, which is why we refer to her as our "little potato". The only kind of potato Penny is though is a couch potato! She prefers to spend her days comfortable on the couch...with you! She’ll nudge you to nestle herself next to you in an attempt to snuggle by your side and will follow you wherever you go. Penny has a playful side too, though! She loves tossing toys around and barreling after a balls. Penny is really something special. Penny would do best with a strong handler. She's been learning her obedience commands and would love for someone to continue working with her at home. And speaking of home, she would love to be your one and only fur baby. She's a whole lot of dog with a whole lot of love, though. We promise your home won't feel empty again. Penny's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, vaccines, microchip and spay. To adopt our biggest, most adorable 100 lb girl apply here https://lovethemallrescue.org/penny. She is sure to steal your heart 100 times over.

RANCH DOGS OR SERVICE DOG PROSPECT!!!!!All dogs are located in southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox Arizona. Please contact Carrie at fedwellfarm@yahoo.com or 602-316-8919 (no texts please) UPDATED PROFILE: Opal and Dusty have learned so much and come so far! A wonderful donor has offered up to $500 to help pay for a dog trainer to work with their adopter. WE WOULD ALLOW THESE DOGS TO A RANCH OR FARM HOME in order to keep them together. We normally do not allow outdoor only, but these two would really love to be together on a farm or ranch. Opal and Dusty have learned so much and come so far! These two wonderful dogs would also excel as service dogs. They are extremely loyal and want to desperately bond with their humans. They are extremely loyal and want to desperately bond with their humans. Both have been snake avoidance trained and actually did so well that the trainer was impressed, and they seem to have known about snakes instinctively. Opal and Dusty were scared kids picked up by animal control in New Mexico. When they arrived, we could not even catch them, they were so afraid. T They have come so far! They love their humans; they look forward to human contact and are absolutely the BEST ON THE LEASH!!!!! They go for long walks with the volunteer, and they are perfect. Once, the volunteer fell on the walk and the leashes were let go., Dusty and Opal stayed right with her and made sure the volunteer was okay and then waited for their leashes to be picked up and carry on with their walk. (The volunteer was not injured thankfully) Both of them are now 2 years old. They have filled out beautifully and are in magnificent condition. Both weigh between 70 and 80 pounds. We would love to place these two in a home together, if possible, but we would separate if necessary. Please come meet these wonderful, beautiful kids and give them the life they really deserve. They have been in rescue way to long and they will repay their new family with so much love, giggles and smiles! 602-316-8919 (no texts please)September 20, 2023, 7:43 pm
