Mona is sweet, petite, and absolutely loves to be with her humans. She is an old soul who enjoys hanging out, going for walks or hikes, playing fetch or Frisbee. Mona is stunning and is the whole, entire package for moderately active people who want an easy, fun companion. Mona is very good on "pack" walks with other leashed dogs, but she wants to be the centerpiece of her new home. She absolutely loves her crate and is prefers relaxing there to being left free-range/home alone. At a slim 40-ish pounds, Mona is the perfect size. She takes treats very gently, and loves to give paw and be cuddled. Due to more severe arthritis in his hind limbs, he was placed on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. We knew he still had a full life to lead, so we saved him and started working on treating his lameness and pain. While Hulk is not a candidate for surgery to alleviate his arthritis, he has been doing well with his pain management plan. He has improved mobility and has been able to enjoy life again! Physical therapy could also help him maintain and possibly increase his mobility. Hulk likes children of all ages, new people and new places but needs to be your one and only dog in the home. He is crate- and house-trained, knows how to use the dog door along with basic commands. This loving pup loves to go on car rides and can be trusted to be left alone. Hulk would make a loving companion for a family looking for a gentle, laidback dog that loves cuddles and just hanging out near you. He is the perfect pup in a house or an apartment but does enjoy a stroll through the neighborhood. We helped transfer him to another rescue, not knowing he would spend the next two years living most of his life in a kennel.
