Story
This absolutely gorgeous, unique beautiful baby girl is Joliet! This social butterfly came into rescue after her mama and babies were abandoned when they were just a couple of days old. Thankfully an incredible foster family immediately opened their home to this amazing mama and her babies and they were blessed to have been raised with endless love! Joliet is now 12 weeks old and has had all of her medical work completed! She has had excellent veterinary care since the beginning and has had her puppy shots as well as boosters and other vaccines, she’s been dewormed, microchipped, shes current on preventative and now spayed! Her mom is a purebred mini Aussie who has since found her forever home, and now it’s this girls turn to find love! Joliet is a complete love! Since day one she’s been raised with lots of handling, love and affection. She’s had excellent nutrition not only from mama but also great kibble that she happily shares with her siblings! Shes been beautifully socialized with not only her siblings and family, but with other dogs, cats, as well as family friends coming over and snuggling these wonderful pups! She’s doing great with house training and is an avid snuggler! She will do wonderfully in a home with another dog as she absolutely loves to have a playmate and cuddle friend! But it isn’t required, she’ll be happy as an only dog too as long as she gets lots of love and snuggles from her parents! She’s the kind of girl you can bring anywhere and will love being by your side. She’s super sweet with everyone and can’t wait to be a cherished member of a family! If this gorgeous sweet unique beauty is your dream pup and you’d love to give her a wonderful life, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Basil Basil is #6 of our 10 'Spice Pups.' This sweet boy is by far the largest of the litter, easily double the size of some of his siblings. He is a big, clumsy baby, and oh-so sweet! Basil loves to play, but also loves to be cuddled! While he is very playful, he is not quite as energetic as some of his siblings. He has short bursts of energy, followed by long cuddle sessions. We dont know the breed of these puppies, they are all different, so there's probably more than 1 'daddy' involved. Mom is very mixed. I believe Basil to be an Anatolian Sheperd mix. His coat is longer than most of his siblings' coats, and he has a much heavier, thicker build. He will likely be around 75 lbs when grown, but this is just a guess based on her current size and build. He is precious and sweet and he is going to make a great addition to a family! He is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Currently 8 weeks old at the time of this post, and weighs about 14 lbs. Basil is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. He is neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Please visit our Facebook page too! https://www.facebook.com/adoptastrayrescueorg For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies!November 27, 2025, 6:09 pm

Story
Mac and his siblings found themselves at a small rural shelter with no foot traffic so we got them out. Mac is curious and independent and loving and adventurous. He loves water and he spends most of his day exploring the woods and ponds on the property. He is super smart too. His siblings are all fluffier than he is and look more shepherd like than he does. He has more of a heeler look in terms of coloring and shape but based on their sizes and their growth since I got them, I believe they will be big dogs. Big, happy, friendly, loving dogs. He is about 4 months old. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) - Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, too young for a heartworm test. Video: (copy and paste into a new browser window) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E6usifNBGv8 Dee and her siblings Dennis, Charlie, and Mac have an always sunny disposition. They are spunky, happy friendly and curious. Their favorite past time is hanging out by one of the ponds. They don't quite swim yet but definitely love water. Great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. Love to cuddle. Do not love being a crate though. They will each make perfect family dogs or adventure buddies for a single person or couple. They are some of the best puppies I've ever met. They were surrendered to a small rural shelter as an accidental litter.
