Story
Mak – big & bold, 3 year old, male Anatolian Shepherd. Owner can no longer keep due to domestic situation. Mak is current on vaccinations but is not neutered. He is good with other large dogs and kids 6+. He can be slow to warm up to adults, but comes around if not ‘pressed’ into it. Like most Anatolian's he is very protective of his people and yard. Mak is crate trained, and finds them comforting. He is house trained & lets you know when he needs to go out. He also knows some tricks, like sit, speak, whisper, shake, and lay down. He needs a stable home with a fenced in big yard to run and play. Mak walks well on a short leash, he doesn't bark or lunge at ppl walking by. PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this dog you MUST have prior GSD/Guardian dog experience. Vet check and a home with securely fenced yard required – NO EXCEPTIONS ! NO cats, small dogs or kids under 6. NO calls please, email only. Adoption Donation: $150. Story
Chance is the sweetest of boys! He can be a bit submissive and apparently had never been inside a house before but has been adjusting and loves being around people. He is good with most dogs, does best with nonaggressive calm dogs and with cats too. Because of his size we do not recommend a home with children but he is equally great with men and women. Chance was found wandering the neighborhood of our rescue and no owner was ever located. He does require fencing that cannot be dug under or if no fence, always on a leash outside. He wants to be with his people and is therefore not a great candidate for a livestock guardian dog.
