Napolean is a true gentle giant, an Anatolian Shepherd with a calm soul and a loving heart. All he really wants is to be close to his people—whether that means joining you for a peaceful walk or stretching out beside you on the couch. His presence is comforting, loyal, and full of quiet affection. Napolean is wonderfully food-motivated and will happily do anything for a treat, making training both easy and fun. With his big, soft eyes and steady personality, he wins over everyone he meets. Sweet, steady, and endlessly loyal, Napolean is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a big-hearted friend who gives just as much love as he gets.

Story
MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsMeet Chip!   This handsome Mastiff mix is currently looking for his forever home. He is about 4 years old and 60-70lbs, although he looks larger (think tall, dark and handsome ;-). Chip currently lives with several other dogs and does great, but we feel that he may like to be your only dog or just with one very nice dog. He needs a calm environment.   Chip was rescued from Miami Dade Animal Services after we saw videos of him shaking in his kennel there. He was brought to us in Tampa and has been in a foster home ever since. While he can take a bit to warm up to new people, once he trusts you, he will bond very deeply with you and count on you for reassurance and love. He loves women and chooses them first.    He is cuddly, gives kisses to his people and interacts with the other dogs in his home. He needs a secure 6' fenced yard (no exceptions) and ideally just a single person or a couple for a quiet home. Because of his nervousness, he needs a home without children, just a quiet serene environment where he can love his people.    Chip is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. His adoption donation is $250.    Adoption applications for Chip can be done at maxxandme.org. Please send one email to maxxandmerescue@gmail.com to confirm receipt of your application.    Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received. Email us at maxxandmerescue@gmail.com for updates and questions. Thank you for choosing rescue. November 3, 2024, 8:21 pm

Story
This is Gizmo he is a four year old mastiff mix who is house and crate trained. He knows various amount of commands/tricks and also is pretty good at playing fetch especially with treats involved. He is not an aggressive dog but does not try to play with every dog he comes across. He has been with me since he was a little pup that can fit in my lap, I unfortunately have had some life changes and can no longer keep Gizmo. He plays with kids but the youngest child he has been around was at least five.

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi there, I’m Cash Money! I’m a 2-year-old Great Dane/Doberman mix, and I’m what you might call a gentle giant. I’m a calm, quiet boy who loves to take life nice and easy — no barking, no chaos, just peaceful vibes and soft snuggles. I’m totally potty-trained, leash-trained, and house-trained (yep, I’m a good boy). I get along great with other dogs, cats, and even kids — as long as they’re chill like me. I’m not really into rough play or loud energy… I prefer cozy naps, slow walks, and quiet company. My dream home? Somewhere peaceful — maybe with a small family who enjoys staying in and relaxing. A fenced yard would be awesome so I can stretch my long legs and sniff around safely. Just a little about me: I do take medication for seizures, but don’t worry — my foster mom says they’re well controlled and I live a happy, balanced life. I just need a family who’s comfortable giving me my meds and keeping up with vet checkups. With your love and care, I promise to be your loyal, gentle best friend forever. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion to fill your home with peace and quiet joy, I think we’d be a perfect match. Adoption FEE: $500 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.
