Initially, Linny did not like other dogs, but she now loves all 4 of the other dogs she is currently living with. She would be lonely if she didn't have any dogs in her future home. Linny was moved into the house to recover from her spay, and since she's been inside, she's had no accidents! She is finally starting to discover her puppy side, and loves to play with her foster siblings. She has lots of energy and loves to go on walks and run around. Linny is a very sweet dog, and if we had any room, we would keep her in a heartbeat. She needs a family to give her lots of love and belly rubs. We are looking to rehome our puppy, Toby. This has been a very hard decision, but we want what’s best for him. Toby is 9 months old (born August 30th). We got him from a woman on a farm near my grandma’s house who was rehoming him and his siblings. He is a very sweet, loving boy with a big personality and lots of energy. He needs a home with more time, attention, and play than we can currently give. Due to our schedules, being kenneled outside of bedtime causes him anxiety. He would thrive in a home where someone is around more often. He is great with kids (we have three, ages 10 and under, including a 1 year old) and does well with other dogs. We have a 120 lb Pyrenees mix, Toby is just more playful than our older dog prefers. Unsure about cats. We are looking for a patient, loving home that understands puppy energy and will continue working with him. Please message me if interested.

Story

Bitsie, an 8-year-old mastiff mix who needed a new home after her owner passed away. She had been living in very poor conditions and arrived obese, with severe foot infections, patchy hair, and other health issues. Although our building was full, ABF helped by arranging veterinary care, providing supplies, and eventually placing her in temporary foster care. Over several months, Bitsie underwent extensive testing and treatment for a persistent bacterial and staph infection in her feet, as well as a UTI and hyperthyroidism. After multiple medication adjustments and specialist visits, her condition gradually improved. As of October, her infection has drastically decreased, her pain has subsided, she is now thriving on a maintenance regimen. She's transformed into a healthier, happier dog. Bitsie continues her Thyro tabs for her hyperthyroidism and Ketoconazole and Sporimune to maintain the care of her feet. Bitsie for the first time is like a puppy. She is enjoying life. She has always given sloppy kisses, but even more now that she feels good. Bitsie runs around the yard, tossing her toys up in the air, chasing balls and rolling in the grass. She also loves car rides and thinks she is a lapdog. I know she has had a long journey to get where she is today and may have to continue some medications, but we are still going to hold out hope that someday she can have her own family. She is very strong, active, smart and wants to please you. Bitsie needs a family that can train her and love her for the rest of her life.
