Story
Grover is a 6 year old Anatolian Shepherd mix who first came to us as a stray. He was scared and got some much needed TLC from our staff and his confidence has since grown tremendously ever since! He is more outgoing, treat motivated, and LOVES to hang out with his people. Grover is searching for a child-free home with no other pets, as he wants to be spoiled as your only baby! He’d love a yard or large indoor space to play in. All he asks is to give him a bit of time and patience as he settles into his new home. He is so loving, loyal, and will adore you forever!

Story
Meet Ginger! A Anatolian shepherd mix, we believe she is about 11 months old. Ginger is a larger dog weighing almost 60 lbs. We think Ginger would do best in a home with kids older than 10 as see can be a strong player. We do Not recommend Ginger having any dog siblings. Are you interested in giving this adorable fur baby a forever home? Complete your application at www.havenoftheozarks.org/adopt and come out to meet our pets any day between 9 AM - 4 PM. No appointment needed. Feel free to email havenozarksanctuary@gmail.com with questions. All of our pets are fixed, microchipped and current on vaccinations before going home.

Story
Meet River — a sweet, goofy bundle of puppy love with a personality that shines. This happy growing boy is always ready to bounce into fun, make a new friend, or shower you with affection. He’s playful, curious, and full of joyful spirit — the kind of pup who can turn any ordinary moment into something to smile about. At a perfect age for learning, bonding, and exploring the world, River is wonderfully suited for training, adventures, and all the experiences that make life with a young dog so special. River’s story began alongside his buddy Banks. The two were found abandoned, hungry, and out of luck near a creek — a pair of little castaways sticking together through it all. Thankfully those difficult days are behind him now, and River is ready to trade survival mode for the safe, loving life every puppy deserves. With his goofy charm, affectionate nature, and bright enthusiasm, River is looking for a home that will embrace his playful heart and give him all the love he’s been missing. Whether he’s romping around, discovering new things, or curling up close after a day of adventures, River is happiest right by your side. He’s ready to start fresh and let his happy, loving personality shine — all he needs now is a forever family to share it with. Fill out a quick match me form here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAST/Dog All C.A.R.E rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and microchipped!
