Gonzo is one of the handsomest dogs we have ever met! His coat is absolutely stunning! He is a well mannered companion on daily walks and enjoys being close by your side. Gonzo also loves outings in the fenced yard. Gonzo is so tender hearted and is so grateful for attention and affection. Gonzo is a bright dog who should master any command you want to teach him. He has already learned to sit and is also housebroken. Gonzo will be a wonderful companion to be at your side during the day and curl up at your feet at night. That’s a whole lot of hungry puppies, so we had to split up into different foster homes to make sure everyone got all the love, bottles, and cuddles we needed. Because of that, some of us ended up with totally different names and personalities… but we’re still one big goofy family at heart! Now look at us! We’ve grown into happy, playful puppies that are always ready for an adventure. We love exploring the yard, carrying toys around like treasures, wrestling with other dogs, and zooming around until nap time hits. We are social, loving babies that get along great with other dogs and kids too. After a long day of puppy business, our favorite thing is snuggling up close for naps and bedtime cuddles. We’ve come a long way from tiny bottle babies, and now we’re ready to find forever families to continue our happily ever afters! Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! Shrek is a great name for me! I am kind of a sweet OGRE looking boy with a loving heart and kind of beat up body. It is HARD to live on the streets! I had an old injury so limping was my norm. It was discovered that my back leg had been broken and healed very wonky. Now my bad leg is gone and I am pain free! NOW, I am a healthy TRIPOD boy looking for just the right family...one who will care for me for all my days! I deserve it and you deserve this cute OGRE in your life too!
