Story
This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 121 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He also has an obsession with deer! For that reason, a privacy fence would be ideal if you have deer around your home. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides". Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! If you would like to be Charlie’s forever family, please email dogs4mylife@ gmail.com or olmc7@ hotmail.com. If you are inquiring from a Gmail address. Story
Bonnie is a 9-week-old Anatolian Shepherd and American Foxhound mix with a sweet nature and a playful spirit. Like her brother, Bonnie is full of puppy curiosity. She loves to explore, play, and be close to her people. She’s affectionate, gentle, and has that perfect mix of fun energy and loving companionship that makes puppies so special. Bonnie will grow into a large dog, so her future family should be prepared for her size and committed to ongoing training and structure as she matures. She’s at a great age to start building confidence and learning the basics. She would thrive in a home with another dog to help guide her and give her a playmate. Having a canine companion will help her continue to grow into a well-rounded adult dog. As with any young puppy, Bonnie will need patience, consistency, and time as she learns house training, boundaries, and manners. With the right home, she is going to blossom into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup to grow with your family and are ready for the commitment of a large-breed dog, Bonnie could be the perfect match.
