Story
Rolly is a sweet and fun anatolian Shepherd mix that was returned to Murci's Mission after deciding that guarding livestock was overrated and being a house pet was much more fun. He is approximately 110lbs and has a beautiful thick coat and mask pattern. He has an estimated birthdate of 12/15/2022.  Rolly is now seeking a home where he can be the couch potato he has always dreamed of becoming. He is good with dogs, cats, kids, and large and small stock animals. He is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. He knows a few basic commands. He would make a great addition to any family looking to add a big lug to the crew, and he is #certified farm safe. He will escape and roam if allowed, so he is not suitable to be left unattended outside.  Rolly comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  His adoption fee is $200 and includes his leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, and medical records. All Murci's Mission dog adoptions also include a complimentary consultation with a behaviorist to help the dog settle into the new home as successfully as possible. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application. Thank you for checking out our boy.  ##2088121##

Story
We took Aggie into our home, two years ago, from a friend who adopted her and found out Aggie had been abused and did not respond well to men. (Our friend did not have the means to help Aggie). Over time, we gained Aggie's trust, and she made a huge improvement. She is comfortable and safe around our immediate family. However, we have people over to our home all the time and with new faces, she is apprehensive and unpredictable. She has nipped at new people if we were not 100% on top of her. We need to find Aggie a forever home where she has an experienced dog owner and not a lot of "new people" traffic. She has sharp teeth and a strong bite. She only likes soft stuffies, so we have not been successful at helping her dull her teeth a bit. She gets along well with 3 of our 4 other dogs, but when they have "tiffs" (as all siblings do), her teeth do some damage, even though she isn't meaning for that to happen. We live on a farm, and she is comfortable around all the animals.

Story
This is Wanda. She is 1y 8m old at this time and around 40lbs. We are unsure of her breed, but she may be a German shepherd, a Belgian Malinois, or a mix of both. She displays traits and behaviors that are typically associated with those breeds (high energy, herding instinct, actively looks for things to do). We are rehoming her as she has gotten into multiple fights with our lighter and smaller mini Aussie. Her sister is the only dog she's shown aggression towards. She's had no issues with cats, children, or any other humans. She's more timid around bigger dogs, but plays around with smaller dogs. Sometime she gets over excited with smaller dogs, but she's never aggressive. She's currently on prozac, but that could likely change in an environment where she can run around and have work to do. She's a great companion for hiking, running, swimming, and she loves to cuddle with you. She's incredibly smart and is capable of learning at an impressive rate.
