Loving Home Needed 🏡 Looking to rehome a sweet girl who deserves the perfect family. She is almost 6 years old, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and potty trained. She is AKC registered (papers not on hand). She would do best in a home where she can be both inside and outside and not strictly outdoors. She is great with kids and has been around babies, but because she doesnt always realize her size/strength, a home with children ages 4+ would be best. She isa wonderful companion who just needs the right environment and family to thrive.

🐾 Hi, I’m Lyra! 🐾 I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being close to my person. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow to follow you around the house and keep you company, I might just be your perfect match. I absolutely adore attention and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. 💛 When it’s playtime, I can get a little goofy and love to run around and have fun. I’m great on a leash, kennel trained, and house trained, so I’m ready to settle right into a loving home. I’m also very treat motivated, which means I’m always eager to learn and please. I’m a bit of a talker—I like to chat with my people—but don’t worry, I’m not a big barker. I’m more of a gentle conversationalist. 🐶 I do best in a calm, loving home where there’s plenty of time for cuddles and companionship. Loud noises and lots of chaos can make me nervous, and I may take a little time to warm up to men or new places. But once I feel safe, my loving personality really shines. I love kids ages 4 and up and get along wonderfully with other dogs. In fact, I’d really love a doggy sibling to play with and help me feel comfortable. I’m happiest when I have a furry friend around. I’m a bit of a free spirit, so a large fenced yard or property is a must to keep me safe and happy. A few other things about me: ✨ I love lounging on the furniture (snuggle buddy alert!) ✨ I’m not a fan of the rain or going outside in the dark ✨ I thrive in a peaceful home with lots of love If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, slightly goofy companion who will adore you endlessly, I might just be the girl for you. Story
Thistle is a loving, active, snuggly dog who loves nothing more that running free in the forest or sniffing for hidden treats. She is three years old and is very smart. She knows more that a dozen tricks, and she is off-leash trained. We are going to be away from home for more than a year and aren't able to keep her. We'll be very sad to see her go. Due to her breed (and we suspect some abuse from her breeder), she can be aggressive towards strangers. She takes about a day (and some ball throwing) to get used to strangers. But once she likes you, she becomes obsessed with you. All she wants is to snuggle and play.
