A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we’re hoping the right person will step up for him. Meet Sawyer Sawyer is a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix who came into the shelter as a stray and is ready for a second chance. At around 65 pounds, he may be a big boy, but he’s truly just a puppy at heart. This sweet, silly guy has a goofy personality that’s sure to make you smile. He loves to play, be around people, and soak up attention whenever he can. Sawyer doesn’t have a mean bone in his body and has shown himself to be friendly, gentle, and easygoing with everyone he meets. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion to romp around with, but he’d also be happy as your one-and-only best friend. Sawyer has not been tested with cats yet. Sawyer tested positive for heartworm when he got to the shelter, and is currently undergoing treatment. He will be all finished with treatment in time for transport. He’s ready to leave shelter life behind and start fresh with a family who will love him for the big, goofy sweetheart he is. Story
Hi my name is Anthony! My breed is known for being a livestock guardian BUT that is not me. I want to lounge on a couch and spend my time with my person. New people tend to scare me and I`ll hide behind my person. I like to jump real high. If I can`t jump the fence, I most certainly will be able to climb it to be with my dog friends next to me. I just DON`T want to be alone. The perfect place would be a person able to hike with me during the day and cuddle on the couch at night. Since I`m not a fan of meeting new people right away, kids wouldn`t be great for me. If you think you`ll be the perfect home for me, apply online today!

Story
Hi, I'm Mouse, and I'm a gentle, sweet girl learning just how good life can be! I'm currently living in a foster home, and every day I'm making progress and discovering what it means to feel safe, cared for, and loved. I may be a quieter soul, but there's something really special about me - I notice the little things, I appreciate kindness, and I form deep, meaningful bonds with the people I trust. I thrive in a calm, peaceful environment where I can take things at my own pace. With patience, consistency, and a soft approach, I continue to blossom more and more each day. Watching me grow and gain confidence is truly something special. Where I really shine is with other dogs-I absolutely love them! I enjoy playing, wrestling, and just being part of a little dog family. Having a confident canine friend helps me feel safe and brings out my playful, happy side in the best way! That being said, it will be a requirement that I be adopted into a home that has another dog to help me come out of my shell! I also do well with other animals, including cats, and would be a wonderful addition to a quieter home with respectful older children who understand a gentle approach. I may not be the type to rush up to greet you right away, but when I choose you -when I trust you - it's something incredibly meaningful! My love is quiet, loyal, and deeply genuine! If you have a soft spot for sweet, sensitive dogs and are looking for a companion whose journey you can be part of, I promise to give you my whole heart in my own special way! *Mouse is currently staying in a wonderful foster home! Please ask to meet with Mouse today! Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 72 Age: 3yrs 2mths 1wks
