Lala Needs a Foster or Adopter by July 11 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin
Lala is currently in a Georgia shelter and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on July 11. A committed home is required for her to make the trip, and we're hoping someone will give this special girl the chance she deserves.
Meet Lala
Affectionately known by the shelter as the "Mini Mal" (short for Mini Malinois), Lala is an 8-month-old sweetheart who has all the intelligence, attentiveness, and playful personality of a Belgian Malinois in a much smaller package. At just 29 pounds, she's surprisingly petite and actually much smaller in person than she appears in photos.
Lala came to the shelter as an owner surrender along with several siblings. While her siblings have all found homes, Lala is still waiting for her turn. Shelter staff absolutely adore her and describe her as a very sweet, friendly girl who loves people and attention.
Recently, Lala attended a large outdoor adoption event with lots of people, activity, and excitement. She handled the experience beautifully, greeting new friends and soaking up all the attention she could get. Her outgoing and affectionate personality was on full display.
Like many young dogs, Lala is still learning some basics. She is working on leash walking and continues to improve every day. It appears she may not have had much experience on a leash before arriving at the shelter, so she will need some patience and practice as she gains confidence. She will likely need help with potty training as well, but she's a smart, attentive girl who is eager to learn and should pick things up quickly.
Lala gets along well with other dogs and has done well with children. She has not yet been tested with cats, but testing can be arranged if needed.

If you're looking for a smaller dog with a big personality, Lala may be the perfect fit. This sweet, intelligent girl is ready for a fresh start and would love a foster or adoptive home to help make her journey to Wisconsin possible.

2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it’s the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
