FROM FORGOTTEN TO FOREVER ❤️ MEET WILDER! Wilder’s story breaks our hearts, but we know his future can be so much brighter. This sweet 1.2-year-old Poodle weighs just 17 pounds and is an absolute love bug and lap dog . Wilder is crate trained , loves other dogs, and wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He does like to chase cats to play, so a home with cat experience or careful supervision would be best. Sadly, Wilder was left behind when his owners moved. He was forced to fend for himself in a neighborhood until someone finally noticed him and brought him to safety. By the time he was rescued, his coat was horribly matted and filled with debris, including urine and feces , and he had to be completely shaved down. Despite everything he has been through, Wilder is still full of love. He is sweet, affectionate, and ready to put his past behind him. We will be sharing his before photos , because his transformation tells an important part of his story—but what we really want everyone to see is the beautiful soul underneath. Wilder deserved so much more than being left behind. Now, he deserves a family who will never make him wonder if he matters again. Dexter is a rescue and has been with us for six years. He is still a bit skittish he likes attention, but doesn’t love to be held. He was house trained, but since we have an older dog, who is having difficulty getting out of the doggie door to go he has followed suit and started going in the house. With training He should be fine going outside. He likes to play with other dogs and has never bitten or been aggressive at all. We just need to rehome him because we have three dogs in total and it is getting to be too much since my husband passed away.

Name: Zurich Breed: Aussie/Poodle Mix Gender: Male (Already Neutered) Age: 4 Months Good with dogs (big+small?): I only have big dogs but I say yes, he would get along with a small dog too. Good with cats: Not sure, but he was previously with a cat rescue... so maybe. Good with kids? (If so, what ages): I haven't had him exposed to any kids yet. He is bad at wanting to jump at people a lot, so real small kids that may be an issue. Good with men: Yes! Crate trained/in process of: Mostly crate trained. Goes in very well but will whine sometimes at night for a few minutes before settling. Doggy door trained: Don't have one. Leash trained: Will be starting leash training soon. Knows any tricks: Currently working on basic commands. Getting pretty good at sit. Likes: All toys, running fast around the yard chasing the other dogs, being near his person. Dislikes: He does not like when a dog(s) tries to play too rough. Must haves: Someone patient to work on his training. Someone who is home a lot and/or another dog in the home. A yard to run around in or an active person. Apartment dog: I don't think so. He is not a big barker but when he is upset because he doesn't want to be shut up or sometimes when he wants a toy another dog has he can be a loud barker. Fun facts: Zurich can be a little timid with some things but he is a bouncing little acrobat with others things. I think after basic training he would do great at agility training. Ideal home: Zurich is almost/or fully deaf so he needs someone (or a family) that will be patient with him as he trains to be the great dog I know he will be. https://linktr.ee/loveconnectiondogrescueaz?utm_source=qr_code
