Story
Katie is a fully vetted, 1-2 yrs old doodle, who is very sweet!! She does ok with other dogs, though sometimes she gets a little overbearing when playing with them, and causes her to become "alpha", so we are hoping to find her a home where she can be the only dog, getting all the love! Katie loves the water, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, great with children, and her temperament with people is very loving. Adopt Me: Lucky Age: 6.5 years Gender: Spayed Female Breed: Pekapoo (Pekinese/Toy Poodle) Weight: 10.6 lbs Location: Humansville, MO Lucky is a sweet and small Pekapoo who came to us from a commercial breeder. She has spent her entire life being passed around from breeder to breeder, meaning she's never had much stability. She's currently in foster care learning how to "dog" and she's doing great! She is learning to go out for potty breaks and gets along great with the other dogs. She is shy so a home that will be patient and give her time is best! Interested in adopting Lucky? Coraline is a 7-year-old Toy Poodle weighing 11.6 lbs. She’s a gentle, sweet girl who may be a little reserved at first, but with patience and the right people, she can warm up and show her loving personality. Coraline would do best in a calm, understanding home where she’s given the time and space she needs to feel comfortable and secure. A meet and greet is required at our shelter to ensure Coraline is a good fit for her future family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to let a bond grow naturally, Coraline could be the perfect match. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
