Story
Meet Jett, a handsome 2.5-year-old Aussie Doodle wdo weighs 40 pounds and is looking for an active family to call his own! This happy-go-lucky boy is full of energy and enthusiasm for life. Jett loves greeting visitors and gets especially excited when company arrives. Whether he's going for a walk, enjoying a golf cart ride, chasing a ball, or playing with other dogs, Jett is always ready for fun and adventure. Jett has been raised around cats and gets along with them, although he still finds them quite interesting and enjoys investigating their activities. He has not been around children, but his friendly nature suggests he could do well with them. However, like many young, energetic dogs, he will benefit from additional training to help him learn not to jump up on people when he gets excited. When the day's adventures are over, Jett is more than happy to relax on the sofa next to his family. He loves his bed, blanket, toys, chewies, and spending quality time with his favorite people. While generally outgoing, he can occasionally be a little shy, reminding us that even the most confident dogs have their quieter moments. Jett's current owner is a disabled veteran who loves him dearly but feels unable to provide the exercise and activity that Jett needs to truly thrive. Because of this, they have made the difficult and selfless decision to find him a home better suited to his energetic lifestyle. Jett's adoption donation is $450, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip, and he is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention to ensure he stays healthy and happy. Jett is currently in a foster home, so an approved application is required prior to schedule a meet-and-greet. If you're interested in making Jett a part of your family and giving him the loving home he deserves, please visit https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html to learn more and submit an application. Jett is ready to find a family that will match his zest for life and give him the active, loving home he deserves. In return, he'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of happy tail wags! 🐾❤️ https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p293/Jett.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Story
🐶 Loving Home Needed for Sweet Senior Maltese × Toy Poodle It breaks our hearts to write this, but we’re looking for a wonderful forever home for our beloved 11-year-old Maltese × Toy Poodle. We’re relocating permanently to Australia, and after speaking with our veterinarian and researching the process, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision that the long international flight and mandatory quarantine would be too much for her at her age. About her: • 11 years old • Maltese × Toy Poodle • Approximately 8 lbs • Spayed (fixed) • Up to date on all vaccinations • Has no remaining teeth (this doesn’t slow her down at all—she eats just fine!) • Sweet, loving companion who loves being close to her people Our only goal is finding someone who will love her as much as we do during her senior years. We are not charging a rehoming fee—finding the right home is far more important to us than money.

Story
Hi, I’m Charlie Brown — a 1year7monthold, 15pound Pekingese-Miniature Poodle (Peek-a-Poo) blend with the same softhearted sincerity that made my cartoon namesake famous. I’m gentle, curious, and a little sensitive, and I warm up quickly to kind women and kids. I’m ready to bring my wiggly, earnest joy to a home that appreciates a sweet boy with a classic name and a touch of Peanuts charm. Favorite Things: Charlie delights in cozy companionship and happily curls up with his people whenever invited. He enjoys playing and has a goofy habit of turning keepaway into a game that always ends with him trotting back for affection. He settles beautifully at night and finds comfort in sharing space with the humans he trusts most. Training and Manners: Charlie is housetrained when let out frequently and settles easily into a home’s rhythm. He sleeps soundly through the night and enjoys quiet downtime with his family. Car rides bring out his bright, tailwagging enthusiasm. His leash skills are still developing — he pulls when excited — but with steady practice he’ll gain confidence. His manners are sincere and sweet, and he responds beautifully to calm, encouraging guidance. Health and Care: Charlie Brown is a healthy little guy! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He’ll just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. As a Poodle blend, he benefits from regular professional grooming to keep his coat soft and tidy. Other Animals: Charlie Brown does well with small dogs and enjoys their company when interactions are calm and respectful. He hasn’t been tested with cats, though his gentle nature suggests he may coexist well. Children: Charlie Brown is wonderful with children of all ages, especially those who give him a little time to settle fully. Ideal Home: Charlie Brown feels happiest in a home where someone is around often, as companionship helps him thrive. He can relax when left alone, but he truly shines with regular interaction. A womanmajority home suits him best, though patient men can earn his trust. He does well in calm environments that allows him to build confidence at his own pace. Overall: Charlie Brown is a tenderhearted, playful young dog who brings warmth and joy wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a name that guarantees charm, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to apply. If it seems like a good match, his foster family will reach out. His adoption donation is $550. ##2796329##

Story
***Local adoption only: Milo needs a family in the central Florida region (Orlando area) who can commit to taking him to his final follow-up appointments with PPR's vetting partners. The cost of these appointments is covered in his adoption donation.*** Hi, I’m Milo, a 6-month-old Cavapoo boy (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Miniature Poodle)! At 6 pounds, I fit perfectly on my person’s lap, one of my favorite places.  I come with my share of energy, but I’m remarkably laid back and chill for a puppy. Favorite Things: Milo loves to play with and chase the other dogs in his foster home. He loves toys, too - the more the better!  He's a snuggle bug who likes to be held and enjoys relaxing on his person’s lap.  Naps are another favorite pastime. Training & Manners: Milo is house trained in his current home where he is let out regularly. As a puppy, he’ll need someone who is at home more often than not during his early months to help continue his training and let him out frequently. He’ll need patience and training on leash walking and learning basic commands.  This little guy loves a car ride and sleeps soundly in the people bed at night. Health & Care: Milo is heartworm negative and current on his vaccinations.  He’ll need an additional appointment with our vet partner for his neuter surgery and microchip, and his adopters must commit to taking him to this appointment, as well as post-surgery care.  The cost of the procedure and appointments is covered in his adoption donation. Milo tends to eat with gusto which can unsettle his stomach, so he'll need to be slowed down at mealtime. Of course, he’ll need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives like any dog and, as a Cavapoo, regular grooming will help him look and feel his best. Other Animals: Milo has had great experiences with dogs of all sizes and needs a dog sibling in his forever home. He would love a furry companion with comparable energy who enjoys playing and being active. We feel having another dog to play with and keep him company will help Milo thrive. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but his foster mom thinks he would likely do well with them.   Children: This sweet boy is great with kids of all ages! Ideal Home: Milo would do fine in an apartment, condo, townhome or single home. He can be left alone in the home in a secure space for a few hours without issues. Overall: If you live in Central Florida and are willing to love and train a smart young pup with endless love to give, Milo may be the one for you. If you think he might be, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, his foster family will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $600.       ##2806258##
