Story
Rambo is a 1-year-and-7-month-old very sweet, loving, and affectionate boy who truly loves being around his people. He is a big cuddle bug and would happily spend time snuggling with you. ❤️He is wonderful with children and does great with my 3-year-old. He loves to play and has a gentle, loving personality.Unfortunately, our family’s schedule has changed significantly. With full-time work schedules and our older children now away at college, we’ve found it increasingly difficult to give Rambo the time, attention, and companionship he deserves. This is a very difficult decision because we love him and want what’s best for him.We are looking for a loving home where Rambo can receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship. He has so much love to give and deserves a family who has the time to enjoy it with him.Our goal is to find the right forever home for Rambo, not simply the first home available. ❤️

Story
Meet Jett, a handsome 2.5-year-old Aussie Doodle wdo weighs 40 pounds and is looking for an active family to call his own! This happy-go-lucky boy is full of energy and enthusiasm for life. Jett loves greeting visitors and gets especially excited when company arrives. Whether he's going for a walk, enjoying a golf cart ride, chasing a ball, or playing with other dogs, Jett is always ready for fun and adventure. Jett has been raised around cats and gets along with them, although he still finds them quite interesting and enjoys investigating their activities. He has not been around children, but his friendly nature suggests he could do well with them. However, like many young, energetic dogs, he will benefit from additional training to help him learn not to jump up on people when he gets excited. When the day's adventures are over, Jett is more than happy to relax on the sofa next to his family. He loves his bed, blanket, toys, chewies, and spending quality time with his favorite people. While generally outgoing, he can occasionally be a little shy, reminding us that even the most confident dogs have their quieter moments. Jett's current owner is a disabled veteran who loves him dearly but feels unable to provide the exercise and activity that Jett needs to truly thrive. Because of this, they have made the difficult and selfless decision to find him a home better suited to his energetic lifestyle. Jett's adoption donation is $450, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip, and he is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention to ensure he stays healthy and happy. Jett is currently in a foster home, so an approved application is required prior to schedule a meet-and-greet. If you're interested in making Jett a part of your family and giving him the loving home he deserves, please visit https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html to learn more and submit an application. Jett is ready to find a family that will match his zest for life and give him the active, loving home he deserves. In return, he'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of happy tail wags! 🐾❤️ https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p293/Jett.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Story
🐶 Loving Home Needed for Sweet Senior Maltese × Toy Poodle It breaks our hearts to write this, but we’re looking for a wonderful forever home for our beloved 11-year-old Maltese × Toy Poodle. We’re relocating permanently to Australia, and after speaking with our veterinarian and researching the process, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision that the long international flight and mandatory quarantine would be too much for her at her age. About her: • 11 years old • Maltese × Toy Poodle • Approximately 8 lbs • Spayed (fixed) • Up to date on all vaccinations • Has no remaining teeth (this doesn’t slow her down at all—she eats just fine!) • Sweet, loving companion who loves being close to her people Our only goal is finding someone who will love her as much as we do during her senior years. We are not charging a rehoming fee—finding the right home is far more important to us than money.

Story
Hi, I'm Daisy!  I’m a tiny, 8-lb Maltese/Poodle blend girl and I'm 10 years old. My hearing and vision aren't what they used to be, but I don’t let that stop me from exploring. Now I just need to discover a very special, patient family who will love me just the way I am. Favorite Things: Daisy LOVES her food and loves soaking up attention. Toys and playing are not really her thing, but exploring her surroundings is high on her list of favorite activities. She also loves being around her person and will sit next to them as much as possible (and extra close in bed at night). Training & Manners:  Daisy is working on her house training and will need to be taken outside frequently.  Due to her vision, she doesn’t do well on a leash so will need more practice with leash walking, and her hearing sometimes makes it difficult to communicate with her. The good news is that she is highly food-motivated to improve her manners.  She is verbal when she wants food but is otherwise quiet. Health and Care: Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is on daily drops for dry eyes and takes her monthly preventatives for fleas and heartworm, along with medications for anxiety. She will likely require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Other Animals:  Daisy has experience with other small dogs and cats.  Children: This gentle, curious gal would do best in a home with respectful teens only.    Ideal Home: Daisy would do well in an apartment, condo or single-family home.  Her “dream” home would be a house without steps (although she is tiny enough to carry) and no pool (for safety reasons with her vision impairment).  A fenced yard would keep her safe and give her room for her adventurous explorations. She has free rein of her foster home and can be left for several hours without issues. She sleeps in the “people bed” at night and is happy to cozy up to her person. Overall: Daisy is a great and loyal companion asking only for food, love, attention, and patience (and creativity when it comes to communication.)  Could special Daisy be the one for you? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org and submit an adoption application. If it looks like a good fit, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $175. ##2667454##

Story
*** Bonded – Codey and Lexie are bonded and must be adopted together. Meet Codey and Lexie! Hi, we’re Lexie and Codey, lifelong companions who adore each other and are ready to bring our gentle, senior sweetness to a new family. We’re calm, affectionate, easygoing, and we’re hoping to find a home with room in the heart for two. Codey: I’m a 13yearold Maltese blend boy who weighs 8 pounds. I’m young at heart, love staying close to my person, and bring a warm, cheerful presence wherever I go. I’m devoted, cuddly, and always ready to join in on whatever my human is doing. Lexie: I’m a 12-yearold Shih Tzu girl who weighs 10 pounds. I’m an independent soul who enjoys quiet moments, cozy spots, and choosing affection when it feels just right. I may be small, but I’m steady, observant, and full of soft charm. Favorite Things  Codey: Codey loves staying near his person and happily shadows them throughout the day. He enjoys curling up on the couch, stretching out in bed, and following familiar routines. While toys don’t interest him much, he’s delighted by breakfast and dinner and cleans his bowl with gusto. He naps often but perks up the moment his human moves, eager to join in. Lexie: Lexie enjoys peaceful moments and likes having her own little nook to unwind in. She’s independent and chooses affection on her terms, occasionally settling beside her person when she feels social. Toys aren’t her priority, but she loves mealtime and finishes every bowl with enthusiasm. During storms or fireworks she appreciates being close, showing her sweetest, most tender side. Training and Manners Lexie and Codey are both housetrained when given regular outdoor breaks and have lovely manners. They walk politely on a leash and enjoy calm car rides, making outings simple and pleasant.  Codey: Codey sleeps soundly either in his bed or curled up beside his person and quickly adapts to the rhythm of his home. Once he feels settled, he lets his human know when he needs to go outside, adding a thoughtful, communicative touch to his easygoing nature. Lexie: Lexie settles comfortably in her dog bed at night and enjoys a calm, predictable routine. She allows being picked up with gentle caution and moves through her day with a soft, steady ease that makes her feel right at home. Health and Care  Lexie and Codey are both microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will need monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, just like any other dog. Codey: Codey is neutered and also enjoys soft food, eating well and maintaining a healthy appetite. His grooming routine is easy, and he stays relaxed throughout baths and trims. Lexie: Lexie is spayed and despite having no teeth, eats beautifully and finishes her meals with enthusiasm. Monthly grooming keeps her comfortable, and she handles it with patient cooperation. Other Animals: Lexie and Codey are comfortable with dogs of all sizes and greet them with gentle curiosity. Their calm nature makes them easy companions for friendly canine households. Cats aren’t the right match for their interest level, but they blend beautifully into homes with respectful dogs. Children: Both dogs have experience with children of all ages and handle interactions with patience and softness. Their steady, easygoing personalities make them wonderful companions for families who teach kids to be kind to senior pups. Ideal Home: Codey and Lexie would thrive in a quiet, loving home where their people are around often. They enjoy calm environments, predictable routines, and spaces where they can rest comfortably. Apartment or condo living suits them well as long as they receive regular outdoor breaks and companionship. They balance independence with affection and appreciate having their humans close throughout the day. Overall: Codey and Lexi are a bonded pair of gentle, loyal seniors who bring warmth, sweetness, and peaceful companionship wherever they go. They complement each other beautifully — one calm and observant, the other social and devoted — and together they offer a comforting, heartwarming presence. They’re ready to share their golden years with a family who will cherish their soft spirits and give them the loving home they deserve. Are you the one for this pair? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, their foster family will reach out with more information. Their adoption donation is $250 for BOTH PUPS. ##2709876##
