We got Simba during Covid from a Puppy store as our first dog, knowing nothing about how to take care of them. He is a miniature Woodle. Is a poodle and wheaten Terrier mix. We’ve had him since 6 months old. He absolutely loves playing fetch, and “Keepy Uppy” with balloons. He is very energetic and loves walks. He has all of his shots, and is neutered. He is in great health and no medical issues. Unfortunately, as of late, he has gotten cranky with one particular family member, but is usually great with everyone.He doesn’t like rain or thunder, but is otherwise a great dog. He knows a few tricks from beginner dog training at PetSmart. He can sit, lay down, give paw, and does Leave it/Take It very well. We need to rehome him bc I am no longer able to work from home & will have to return to the office and on the road most of the month. This means he would be alone in his crate for most of the day and I’d rather him be with a family that has time to spend with him.

Hi, I'm Daisy!  I’m a tiny, 8-lb Maltese/Poodle blend girl and I'm 10 years old. My hearing and vision aren't what they used to be, but I don’t let that stop me from exploring. Now I just need to discover a very special, patient family who will love me just the way I am. Favorite Things: Daisy LOVES her food and loves soaking up attention. Toys and playing are not really her thing, but exploring her surroundings is high on her list of favorite activities. She also loves being around her person and will sit next to them as much as possible (and extra close in bed at night). Training & Manners:  Daisy is working on her house training and will need to be taken outside frequently.  Due to her vision, she doesn’t do well on a leash so will need more practice with leash walking, and her hearing sometimes makes it difficult to communicate with her. The good news is that she is highly food-motivated to improve her manners.  She is verbal when she wants food but is otherwise quiet. Health and Care: Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is on daily drops for dry eyes and takes her monthly preventatives for fleas and heartworm, along with medications for anxiety. She will likely require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Other Animals:  Daisy has experience with other small dogs and cats.  Children: This gentle, curious gal would do best in a home with respectful teens only.    Ideal Home: Daisy would do well in an apartment, condo or single-family home.  Her “dream” home would be a house without steps (although she is tiny enough to carry) and no pool (for safety reasons with her vision impairment).  A fenced yard would keep her safe and give her room for her adventurous explorations. She has free rein of her foster home and can be left for several hours without issues. She sleeps in the “people bed” at night and is happy to cozy up to her person. Overall: Daisy is a great and loyal companion asking only for food, love, attention, and patience (and creativity when it comes to communication.)  Could special Daisy be the one for you?
