Story
Hi, I’m LuLu! I’m a 17-lb Poodle blend and I'm just 6 years old. Introversion? Never heard of her. Alone time? Absolutely not. I'm a social butterfly who is the life of the party: now I just need some humans to make their life a wonderful adventure.  Favorite Things: LuLu love snacks, snuggles, and socks. She is very food-motivated, and this affectionate girl loves cuddling up with her people. She will be best suited with a family that can spend large amounts of time with her. She is also ready to protect her people from any and all rogue socks, and will collect them for you.  Training & Manners: Lulu is a little lady!  She is house trained if let out frequently. She will need a bit more practice leash walking, but if left in an enclosed yard she will play, and stay near you (unless she wants to go back inside, which she will let you know by sitting near the door). This girly girl seems to prefer being inside.  Health & Care: Lulu is spayed, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. She just needs monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any pup. As a poodle, she will need professional grooming every few weeks plus regular brushing. Other Animals: Other small, calm dogs seem to be about LuLu's speed. She hasn't been observed around cats, but her foster thinks she'd get on with them. Children: Lovely LuLu is kid-tested and kid-approved! Ideal Home: LuLu doesn't like being left alone and has an adventurous spirit, so she needs a single-family home with a securely fenced yard.  Overall: As long as her people are near, LuLu is what her foster describes as "the perfect dog." Could you be the family who stays near LuLu and makes her dreams of a forever home come true? Then visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org to fill out an adoption application. If it seems like it could be a good match, her foster family will reach out with more information. Her adoption donation is $400. ##2682293##

Story
Hi! I’m Cliff, a threeyearold Japanese Chin -Poodle blend weighing 15 pounds and I’m happiest when I’m right by my uperson’s side. I’m affectionate, social and known for my happy little wiggle when I’m excited, which is often. I bond deeply with my people and take my role as loyal companion very seriously. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly shadow who will adore you with his whole heart, I might be your guy. Favorite Things: Cliff loves people most of all and thrives on closeness and affection. He enjoys car rides, quiet time at home and curling up in bed with his humans at night. Treats are a big motivator for him and while toys are optional, attention is not. He is naturally quiet and unfazed by everyday household noises, making him a calm presence in the home. Training and Manners: Cliff is fully housetrained with regular outings and has solid basic manners. He’s smart, foodmotivated, highly trainable and his leash skills keep improving with practice and positive reinforcement. He can get a little enthusiastic when treats or attention are on the line, but it all comes from excitement and his eagerness to be part of the fun. Health and Care: Cliff is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is a healthy young dog who only requires routine monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. He will benefit from occasional professional grooming along with regular brushing at home. Other Animals. Cliff gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He greets new dogs with friendly confidence and calm curiosity. He can be a bit pushy around treats, so easygoing canine friends are the best match. He hasn’t been formally tested with cats, but his foster thinks he would be ok with a feline friend. Children: Cliff does not have known experience with young children. Based on his affectionate and gentle nature, he would likely do well with all ages. Ideal Home: Cliff is very peopleoriented and prefers not to be alone, as he forms strong attachments to his humans. Because of this, a singlefamily home is recommended while he continues to build confidence with independence. He does not require a large yard and is content staying close to his person on leashed outings.  Overall: Cliff is a loving, loyal and joyful companion who brings warmth and affection wherever he goes. He is smart, snuggly, social and deeply devoted to his people. With the right home, Cliff will be a wonderfully rewarding best friend who truly wants nothing more than to be by your side. Is Cliff the sidekick you’ve been waiting for? To meet him, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org and submit an adoption application. If it looks like a good fit, his foster family will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $450. ##2682298##

Story
Hi . . . My name is Dax and I’m a 6-year-old Miniature Poodle/Japanese Chin boy who weighs 15 lbs.  I’m adventurous, affectionate and playful.  I may be shy at first, but I love people and other pups once I get to know them.  I’m hoping to find my forever home where I can give you lots of love and get plenty of love in return. Favorite Things: Dax loves his toys and this sneaky fella has been known to “steal” a few toys or shoes when left unattended.  Snuggling and belly rubs are two of his favorite things.  He is very loving and enjoys following his humans everywhere.  Training & Manners:  Dax is house trained in his foster home when let out regularly. He tolerates a car ride.  He does need additional practice with his basic manners and leash walking manners.  He is very food-motivated, which lends itself nicely to additional training.  Health and Care: Dax is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Like any dog should, he takes his monthly prevention for fleas and heartworm.  He will need regular grooming, and the frequency will depend on the length and style of cut wanted. In between, he will need to be brushed, which he seems to enjoy. Other Animals:  Dax has experience with small dogs; both playful and laid-back and he greatly enjoys his playdates with other small dogs.  He gets excited to go on walks and happily greets other dogs, big and small.  He has not been around cats, but given his sweet disposition, we think he would be okay with a feline friend too. Children: This curious boy would be suitable for a home with children of any age, as long as they are respectful. In his foster home, he enjoyed running and playing with children over the age of three. Ideal Home: Dax is a runner outside and will attempt to get out any open door. He is also very fast.  He really likes taking long walks but doesn’t seem to like steps or the dark. For these reasons, a single-family home with a fenced yard will be a necessity.   At his foster home, he has free rein of the house and can be left alone for several hours without issues.  After a day of play, he is happy to curl up and sleep in the “people bed” at night. Overall: Dax is clever, cute as a button and would be a great addition to any family.  Could you be the family? Think dapper Dax is for you? If so, visit www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org and submit an adoption application. If it looks like a good fit, his foster family will reach out with more information. His adoption donation is $450. ##2682295##
