Story
Kody 5.5 year-old Aussie shepherd poodle mix. She has a strong personality and loves to be the center of attention. She has been professionally trained knows all commands is how trained and great on a leash with her training commands and in a vehicle. Would need someone that has no other dogs in their home and has the time and attention to spend with Dakota continuing to utilize her training skills. She is doing a great job in her behavior training after spending a month in a program, she is now better wtith kids and other dogs but needs 1on1 continued training and cultivating of her new skills. she loves to have a job and be put to work. she will cuddle with you all. night long or sleep in a crate (after some adjustment). She loves games and can be taught more, but doesnt really play fetch. I think she could aslo be a great swimmer in environments like a river or the ocean. She loves to bark at the shore line as it rolls in and out. She will also jump over shorter gates or fences to be nearer to you, but will not run away. woul ddo great at agility training and activities. Kody would be the perfect single companion dog we love her so much and she has just as much love to offer the right family or person. She would ride passenger on a road trip or hang out while you watch tv. the perfect best friend.

Meet Lady, a 1 year old, 54 pound, wonderful Doodle mix. She is friendly and gets along with other dogs well! Lady is a sweet, sensitive young dog looking for a patient adopter who can help her continue building confidence. The world can feel a little overwhelming to her at times, especially around unfamiliar dogs and new situations, and she may seek reassurance by staying close to her person or hiding behind them when she's unsure. Like many young dogs, Lady can get a little mouthy when she's excited, offering gentle nibbles and enthusiastic paws as she plays. She doesn't always realize her size yet, but she's eager to learn with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. Lady currently lives with cats and generally coexists well with them. She can be protective of especially high-value treats, so supervision and management around special chews are recommended. Lady forms strong bonds with her people and would love a home where someone can help her work through her separation anxiety. She may whine when left alone or when her favorite person leaves the room. When she's feeling anxious or stressed, she may chew or lick at her legs and feet as a self-soothing behavior. Her future adopter should be prepared to help her build confidence. Despite her worries, Lady's loving nature shines through every day. She is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. With patience, understanding, and a calm home environment, Lady has all the potential to blossom into an amazing companion. Story
Rocky is a beautiful 2 year old aussiedoodle. He is an amazing dog for the right home. He is super smart, loyal, and loving. He is a Velcro dog to the person he connects with, meaning he will follow them everywhere. He is completely housebroken and knows many basic commands such as come, sit, roll over, off and paw. He is also a great guard dog. He will protect the home and does not let anyone in without knowing them first, or making sure it is ok with his family. Rocky is reactive with young children and unfortunately we were unable to train it out of him. The perfect home would be a couple or small family with older children and not a ton of commotion. We really want to find him a calmer and loving home.

Meet the beautiful Betty! This sweet girl is a 1 year old female Aussiedoodle mix. She is super friendly and loves just about everyone and everything she meets. She loves to snuggle and wants to be with you at all times. She still has lots of energy and she loves to romp and play. She never turns down a good belly rub. Even though she is considered an adult, she still has lots of puppy energy! She loves to play ball and to run around the yard. She would make a great addition to a family with an active lifestyle! She is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. She can't wait to find her forever home! RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 150.00 deposit required for dogs and 50.00 for cats. Due at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the deposit comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Meet Paris a sweet pooch that is smaller than she looks. Currently she weighs a few ounces over 20 pounds. She is between 6-7 months old and if she gets bigger it will not be by much. She has suffered no neglect or abuse and only understands that the world is a great place. We wish to secure her a home where she can continue to believe that throughout her life. She has two different color eyes and you are always drawn in when you look at her. Paris is working on her house training but please understand a puppy is not house trained but rather area specific trained. So you will have to show her where to go once there.
