Meet Lady!
If you're looking for a 55-pound cuddlebug with a heart as big as she is, allow us to introduce you to Lady!
Lady is 1 year old Sheepadoodle who is an absolute lover once she knows you. She forms strong bonds with her people and would happily spend her days following you around, snuggling on the couch, and soaking up as much affection as you'll give her. And yes, despite being 55 pounds, she's still convinced she belongs in your lap.
She's also dog- and cat-friendly, making her a great candidate for a home with furry siblings. She continues to do well around both and enjoys having canine and feline friends around.
Lady is crate trained and doing wonderfully with her routine. She's still a young dog, though, and she's working on her manners. When she's excited, she can get a little mouthy with gentle nibbles and enthusiastic paws. She's also learning that not every moment requires a full-body Sheepadoodle celebration. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and continued guidance, she's making progress.
Lady is also a bit of a Velcro pup—when her people are home, she wants to be right there with them! Following you from room to room, curling up beside you, and making sure she knows exactly what you're doing are some of her favorite activities. The good news is that when her people need to leave, she's perfectly content relaxing in her crate. She does well with her routine and has learned that crate time simply means it's time to settle in until her people return.
What Lady really wants is pretty simple: A person to love. A home where she feels safe. And plenty of opportunities to be included in the family.
She's sweet, affectionate, goofy, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, crate trained, and SO much more confident than the girl who first arrived.
Lady has done the hard part.
Now she just needs someone to give her the forever home where she can keep blossoming.
