Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who just needs a little patience to shine, Moe may be the perfect match for Adoption Fee: $400 Apply to adopt Moe: www.adoggie4you.org Give this gentle boy the loving home he’s been waiting for! This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
Meet Cara! Cara is a tiny 2-year-old Toy Poodle weighing just 7.5 pounds. She was rescued from an Amish puppy mill, where she spent her early life being bred to produce puppies. Thankfully, those days are behind her, and Cara is now safe in rescue and learning what it means to be a beloved pet as she searches for her forever home. Cara is discovering the joys of being a dog. She enjoys being with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and one of her favorite pastimes is following her foster mom around the backyard and watching everything she does. Like many former puppy-mill dogs, Cara is still learning about the warmth and affection that comes from people. She is making great progress and beginning to understand that not everything that moves needs to be barked at! She does well with both women and men and is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. As a typical Poodle, Cara does best with structure, routine, and consistency, which will help her continue to gain confidence. Cara has not yet had the opportunity to meet children or cats, so those introductions would need to be handled thoughtfully. At night, she sleeps quietly in her crate like a good little girl. She is also working hard on her potty training and has only occasional accidents. Cara will need a patient, loving family who understands that she is still learning and will give her the time and encouragement she needs to blossom. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, this sweet little girl is sure to make wonderful progress and become a devoted companion. Cara is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Story
Meet Silas! 🐾 Silas is an almost 7-year-old, 8-pound Toy Poodle who is happiest when he’s close to his person. He loves kisses, cuddles, and being by your side, and once he trusts you, he settles into a calm and relaxed little companion. It took him less than 24 hours to decide his foster mom was his person! Silas’s superpowers include being an expert cuddler, giving lots of love, and being a quiet, easygoing companion. He even enjoys watching TV—apparently, Law & Order: SVU is his favorite! 😂 Give him some chin rubs, and he’ll melt right into a nap. Silas enjoys going for walks, although he’s not completely convinced that touching grass is necessary! He’s also an early riser and is usually ready to start his day around 5:00 AM. His foster mom says that actually works out pretty well—it gives her plenty of time to get to the gym by 6:00 AM! Silas is still working on his house training. He tends to prefer moving around and marking his territory rather than using pee pads, so his foster mom is using washable belly bands while he learns the routine. He’s a smart little guy, and we’re confident he’ll catch on with consistency and patience. When it comes to food, Silas enjoys wet food and little bites of chicken. We’re still learning which treats he prefers. If you’re looking for a sweet little companion who will happily greet you when you walk through the door, snuggle up beside you at night, and never turn down a good chin rub, Silas might just be your perfect match. ❤️ Silas is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His adoption fee is $450.00.
