We are looking for a responsible, experienced home for our 4.5-year-old male Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix.He is kind, loving, affectionate, and happiest with his people. He loves tennis balls, walks, belly rubs, swimming, playing in water, and car rides. His giant smile makes it easy to see when he’s happy, and he has brought our family so much joy.This is an incredibly difficult decision. Because he has bitten a child on two occasions, he must be placed in a home with no young children and no regular young child visitors. His bite history must be taken seriously, and interactions with people and animals should be carefully managed. We believe he would do best as the only pet, although he has done well at doggy daycare.He needs a patient, responsible adopter, ideally with experience managing dogs with bite behavior. He is fully vaccinated, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped. We hope to find him a loving home where he can thrive.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly. Meet Barkley! Barkley is a 5 year old, 15-lb mini poodle who loves the outdoors and playing with other dogs! Barkley was rescued from a puppy mill so he is finally getting the chance to learn what a good life is like! He is a very curious little guy who is constantly looking for something or someplace new to explore. He spends as much time as he can soaking up the sun and just chillin' on the back deck. He is very shy around people and sudden noises, so he will need a patient home willing to give him the time he needs to blossom. He can't wait to let his personality shine! We are still working on leash and potty training but he's smart and making progress everyday! Barkley is crate trained and sees it as his safe space. He is fostered with other dogs and does wonderfully with them. His favorite treats are chicken and scrambled eggs. Barkley would love a home with a fenced in yard and another dog so he can continue making progress. He wants nothing more than to be part of a family who will love him! Meet Asher! Asher is a beautiful five year old, 54 lb, cream colored Standard Poodle who until now has only known the lonely life of a puppy mill. You would never know this because of how loving he is. Early on in his fostering, he would slowly collect all the dog toys and drop them gently in the dog and cat beds. He also added bones and a small dog dish as if to say, “I find these things special”. Asher gets along well with his foster siblings (including happy greetings through the fence with the dog next door). He loves being near his people and would probably do well with owners who are not gone a lot. He travels well in the car with no motion sickness. He loves to wander the yard so a fenced area would be ideal. Running out in the morning to chase the squirrels away from the bird feeder has become his new anticipatory fun. He has also had a few fun runs in the back yard, but is usually very calm. He loves to lay in your lap, beside you, at your feet, or even curl up on your chest. He would do well as an adored dog of one, or part of a pack. He is highly intelligent, potty trained, loving, and waiting for the perfect home. Asher is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $450.00.
