Story
A dapper fella with a charming half-tail, Tucker is a chill guy with a live-and-let-live attitude. He bonds tightly to his person once they've shown themselves worthy. A safe and quiet life is at the top of this boy's want list. Then he can really open up and show his fun side, which includes an adorable play bow! He likes playing with female dogs but is a grump with other males.  ~  Est DOB:  Aug 2011 ~  Est weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 26, 2023, 10:33 pm

Story
FOR SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY! ( Please do not apply if you are not 100% sure, Roxy needs a loving home who is absolutely sure of having her love). Roxy is a super playful and energetic pup! She loves everyone and is always wanting to play. She is 100% purebred Australian Cattle Dog aka Blue Heeler just like the pups from the kids/family show BLUEY. Unfortunately, our family can no longer give her the life that she should have. Roxy will thrive with a family who is very active and attentive to her breed type. She needs constant enrichment and exercise. She is not neutered. We are unsure how she would be with cats. Our family had to move into an apartment where she cannot thrive as she should. We are positive that she will soon find her forever and loving home! If you have a fenced in yard, that is a major plus as this would be the best place for her to run and play. Contact us anytime. Meet and greets are also available per request. :)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . Hoots is the friendliest, most affectionate guy out of the whole pack. He will sit in your lap and smother you with kisses. He seems to get along with everyone he meets. He will need to learn to live without his mother and siblings but he is such a happy guy, we don't see that being an issue. Hoots weighs 29 pounds.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   November 25, 2023, 4:49 pm

With his silver coat and sterling personality, Topper will be quite the catch for his new family. He is happy to meet new friends, whether people, dogs, or pups, and he gives cats respect (by ignoring them!). Topper is equal parts playful and smart. He already knows his basic manners and appears to be housetrained, making him tons of fun outdoors and properly polite inside.   ~  All pets are spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter.~  Est DOB:  Jan 2022 ~  Intake weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 26, 2023, 10:33 pm
