Story
UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Look at our sweet Scruffy now!!! What a transformation! Scruffy has gone from a mangy mess to a beautiful heeler mix boy! His foster mom has done amazing with him. This dude is around 1 year and weighs 36lbs. He is a total sweetheart and doesn’t let his neglectful past bother him one bit. He loves all people and animals. He’s spunky and full of personality. Scruffy is now fully vetted, healthy and ready for his forever home! Thank you to everyone who donated and shared this sweet boy! YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. All questions and comments must go directly through the rescue. Thank you for your understanding. Story
UPDATE!! HUGE THANK YOU TO THE FOSTER FOR STEPPING UP FOR THIS GIRL!  Meet Tali!! This sweet girl is one of momma Tenzi’s puppies. She’s an adorable 9 month old - 30 ish lb Cattle dog mix! Tali is the most outgoing of her siblings. Still a little shy but always open for love and treats. She’s very good motivated and we think this girl would open up even more once in her own home away from her mom and siblings. She does great with all size dogs and doesn’t mind the kids that have been around at adoption events. Tali is utd, spayed and ready for her forever home!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! NEWBIE ALERT!! Meet Lola & Abby. These sweet girls were taken in by a Good Samaritan who reached out to us for help in placing them. They are adorable 12 week old heeler mixes.
