Story
Maggie is 6 years old. Her favorite toy is a ball. Loves to play catch and retrieve her ball. Never gets tired of doing it. She loves to splash in a wading pool. She’s been around elementary age kids and loves to play with them. She loves to be petted, but doesn’t like rough play. She doesn’t like a stranger who approaches her standing up. She has been in a good size fenced yard and loves to bark at people walking their dog. Shes kennel trained and sleeps inside in her kennel at night. She doesn’t like thunder and storms. I just want her to have a good home.

Story
Zane came to us with 6 of his siblings, Clover, Cora, Cici, Zeke, Margo and Mango.  Dad is a Red Heeler and Mom a Shepherd Mix. They all have the biggest ears you have ever seen! Zane has been both inside and outside and is good with cats, kids, and other dogs. He is very timid but we are working on that and giving him tons of socialization and reassurance. He really enjoys affection, but he will take time (a few weeks) to settle into your home. Patience is necessary with puppies that are scared like this litter is. He is not house trained but we offer free online basic obedience and house training via Dog Academy. Zane will make a great addition to any home looking to add an active puppy to their family.  If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.June 17, 2025, 11:57 am

Story
Thor came from a bad situation where he and 11 other dogs were not being fed or given any attention. In spite of all that, Thor is friendly and craves affection. He loves back scratches and cuddles! He appears to be a little hard of hearing but he is not deaf.  Thor has never been on a leash before so we are working on leash training. He is very smart and eager to please, so any training should go smoothly. If you would like more information, please call the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.November 24, 2025, 1:52 pm
