Story
Abby will be 5 years old in January. She needs to be an only pet. Not because she doesn’t like other dogs but because she does not want to share her person. Will show aggression towards dogs that get too close to her human. She definitely prefers a woman. She’s looking for a single woman, living alone and she would prefer them to be homebodies with a quiet lifestyle. If you have visitors she and they will be happier if she is put up til they leave. In exchange for you loving just her she will give you her undivided attention and will be your bodyguard. She is house broke. Knows commands and walks well on a leash Up to date with all vaccines and is heartworm negative. Non destructive and can be left out in a home. Loves puzzles and interactive toys. She is loved dearly but will not coexist with other dogs in house

Story
Meet Elfie Elfie is our quirky, sweet boy who has been patiently waiting over a year for his forever home—and we just know the right family is out there for him. He has a special way of making everyone smile, and it’s no surprise that our staff and volunteers absolutely adore him. Elfie gets along well with other dogs and is a joy to walk—he’s great on a leash and loves heading out on new adventures. While he enjoys getting out and about, Elfie would truly thrive in a calm, relaxed environment where he can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. He’s a big fan of being spoiled with treats and pup cups (and he never says no to a little extra attention). Elfie has so much love to give and would make a loyal, gentle companion for someone ready to give him the forever home he’s been waiting so patiently for. Adoption Fee: $295 Please Note: All potential adopters must be open to a home check and provide vet records to confirm that any dogs in the household are spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. Story
Meet Gumbo! Gumbo is a super sweet, slightly shy 1.5-year-old Blue Heeler mix weighing about 40 lbs. This handsome tri-color boy was found as a stray, but he hasn’t let his past dim his gentle spirit. Gumbo is heartworm positive, but Paws Fur Recovery will cover all costs involved. He’s blossoming beautifully and is now searching for a forever family who will give him the love, patience, and stability he truly deserves. Gumbo gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy a home with a canine friend to help boost his confidence. Once he warms up, he’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to be near his people. He has that classic Heeler intelligence and a soft, tender heart that makes him easy to love. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who just needs a little reassurance to shine, Gumbo may be the perfect match. Could this sweet boy be your new best friend?
