Story
Meet Monty! This goofball loves everything about life. He loves to run and play, and he can keep going all day long! Being a red heeler mix, Monty has lots of energy and he is smart as a whip. He would really thrive in a home where his family understands him and his needs as a working dog breed. Monty has a lot to offer: he is crate trained, loves to give and get affection, already knows some skills like how to sit and give paw, and, of course, he's a super handsome and photogenic boy! If you have a tasty treat, you can persuade him to do just about anything. And you will never know a boring day with Monty's goofy antics keeping you entertained! Monty is looking for a home where he can be the only dog (although he likes dogs, he prefers to be the center of attention in the home!), with an active family who is looking for a new furry friend to take on all kinds of adventures!

Story
Daisy is a Cattle Dog mix around 2-yesrs-old. She is very sweet and loving! She does lack some confidence, especially around other dogs and strange noises. She rides well in a car, likes to stick close to her person, and gives lots of kisses. When she's comfortable she becomes playful and likes to play with toys. She has a herding breed personality! If you're interested in Daisy, please fill out an application on-line at www.puppyhillfarm.com. You can also meet her thus Saturday at Petsmart-Archer Rd in Gainesville 11am to 4pm! Visit us at the Gainesville Petsmart on Archer Rd Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays Noon to 5 pm. Story
Ember is a 2yr old cattle dog mix looking for her next adventure. She has lived with eight other dogs and three cats and got along well with everyone. She is very food motivated and loves to learn new tricks-she currently knows 14! Emmy is housebroken, crate trained and walks well on leash. Her weak spots are that she can occasionally be vocal in her crate, she resource guards food, and she is environmentally sensitive. She can be slow to warm up to people, but with a proper introduction she's lovely. When fed in her crate, her resource guarding isn't an issue. Ember is a lovely hiker, beginner rally dog, and all around good pet. I'm looking for a moderately active home with dog experience for her.

Story
Star found her way into rescue when an ad appeared on FaceBook about a yard sale and some puppies being given away at the yard sale. The pups were much too young (only 4-5 weeks) to be placed in homes and mom was still nursing them. A friend and rescue colleague went to the yard sale to try to get the pups before they ended up in the wrong (or incompetent) hands but by the time she got there, all of the puppies except for Star were gone. Star was in rough shape and was very wormy. Our friend dewormed Star and fostered her with the understanding that we would take her and put her thru our rescue once we had room and she was old enough to have her fully vetted. Well..that time has finally arrived and Star made her way to us. Her foster family did a phenomenal job with her and she is very social, happy and a fun girl! She has gained weight and has started to learn crate training and was working on house manners but she is still very young (we estimate about 10 weeks as we don't have an exact birthdate) so she will need continued guidance with training and learning to be the awesome dog she will be. Mom was a terrier (bully type breed) and dad was a red Australian cattle dog so she should be a medium sized girl once full grown. Star has been socialized with cats, kids and other dogs so she should fit easily into any home environment. She is very playful and active although she enjoys cuddle time too. A family with other pets and/or kids or an active adult who will take her on fun outings and play with her would be ideal for this girl. She could really be quite versatile but remember she's a puppy with puppy level antics so be prepared for everything and anything "puppy". Star is just that and she hopes she can be the star of your show! Star saw the vet on 4/24/24 and was found to have no issues on her exam. She is too young for a heartworm test but has been started on heartworm prevention and flea control. She will need a few more boosters on her vaccinations until she is old enough for her rabies vaccination at 4 months of age. Star tested positive for hookworms on her fecal so she was given a Drontal to treat. Overall, she's a healthy girl ready to start her new life! If interested in giving Star her forever home, please submit your interest and your adoption application via email or text ONLY to 352-215-3260 (phone calls will not be answered or returned from this number). Star's adoption fee will be $200 to help cover the cost of her vetting and daily care while with us. We will only consider applicants who complete the adoption application and will determine whether the applicant would be a good fit for Star based on the info provided in the application. If we feel that you will be a good match for her, we will set up a meet and greet appointment with you.
