Rutter was rescued from a stranger who unfortunately passed and was going to be put down. He isn’t well with strangers nor animals. He is potty trained and knows the basics! We have had him for about a month and a half. He is great at protecting but takes that a little too serious and will start getting aggressive towards others. We would love if he got a safe home for someone who could attend to him a little more and can train him as we are having a hard time training him to be comfortable around others and animals. Although he has aggression once he gets to know you he is so loving and playful. He loves toys and going on walks. He has some anxiety away from my husband and I when we aren’t home. Although he has never torn of ruined anything in the house but he does get very loud and it gets to be a bother with neighbors around us. We hope someone can love him as much as we’ve had:)

I'm very much a puppy and have been described as "the most adorable, freckly landsharky." My puppy teefies can be redirected to my toys, and I do hope to have lots and lots of toys in my next home! I will say, tough toys may be best for me (hehehe). I have an absolute blast playing with other dogs, and I can get any play group fired up when I enter with my zoomies. This guy showed up on our property last fall very unkept and not neutered. We got the neuter done within a few days. Heartworm test was negative. He is deaf but when with another hearing dog you wouldn’t know it right away. He responds sooo well. Never seen a friendlier dog!!! However he would not have to be with another dog. We have leash trained and crate trained him. I am a known expert on this breed and he is a very good dog. We guess he is around 8 yrs old. Since he was older when neutered I would recommend he be with a female dog. He has even been with a little dog before at our farm. I would say he weighs 38 or 40 lbs.

She has a good base of training, but would benefit from regular training sessions. She is a very easy dog and loves being outside, especially when it’s cold out. She is super smart and lovable, doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Very submissive around other dogs and loves people. She has a sassy/defiant side when it comes to certain things and is sometimes too smart. She loves to play, and will kill bugs for you (very helpful). She is extremely healthy, but sometimes has trouble eating. She is house trained and never has accidents, knows how to ring a bell to let you know she needs to go out. She is also crate trained, but can be left out. Looking for someone who can give her lots of attention and cuddles! She’s the sweetest girl.
