Story
Bagel is a high-energy working dog. He loves to lick and play with anyone willing to throw a frisbee. He always wants to play and will give you puppy dog eyes until you take him outside. Bagel likes to be outdoors as much as possible (weather permitting), so the more you can play with him outside, the happier he'll be. We adopted Bagel and his brother, Bandit, from a shelter in North Texas when they were 7 weeks old, back in 2017. They've been sweet dogs all around, but since we had our first child in 2022 Bagel has become increasingly jealous and needy. Now with a second child in the house we don't feel safe with Bagel around them. He's never bitten them, but he will growl and get defensive if they get too close. This isn't healthy for us, and it's not fair that Bagel doesn't get the attention he needs. We hope whoever decides to adopt him will take the time to make him truly happy and give him a loving, engaging home.
