Story
Boomer is a 3 year old Cattle Dog mix who was hit by a car and injured his right front leg, requiring an amputation. His owner could not afford medical care and he was surrendered to the shelter. He has healed nicely from the surgery and is ready for a forever home. He is current with vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped. He is a very friendly and loving boy who is adjusting well on 3 legs. He is good with children and most other dogs (selective with some males).

Story
Vader found his way into my home as a foster pet with a sponsored adoption fee already paid, so he has no upfront costs for you. Vader is a terrific 18-24 month old Blue Heeler/Shepard mix. He is house trained and crate trained. He does extremely well on walks around the neighborhood where everyone likes to stop us to say hi to him. Time at the dog park is his favorite time of the day to get the zoomies and to play with other dogs, make sure to bring a ball because running after the tennis ball really brings his personality out! He is also a very good listener and learning his commands quickly. I do not have any other animals so Vader will do well as a single pet or from his interactions at the dog park he would love a four legged friend, he has not been introduced to cats so he would require a slow supervised introduction due to his breed. I will include his doggie bed and favorite toys to help him adjust to his new home.
