Story
Meet Koda – Your Future Adventure Partner Koda is the natural leader of the pack—the kind of pup who steps into any room (or yard!) with confidence, curiosity, and a spark of excitement. This beautiful heterochroma female Heeler mix is as loving as she is driven, always ready to share affection after a day of exploring. Koda is incredibly smart and focused, with a keen awareness of everything happening around her. Whether she’s observing her doggy friends or investigating a brand-new scent, she approaches life with enthusiasm and intention. She thrives on engagement and loves having a “job,” even if that job is simply being your loyal sidekick. True to her adventurous spirit, Koda’s favorite time of day is when the sun is shining and she can stretch out, soaking up the warmth with her legs kicked back in total relaxation bliss. It’s her way of recharging for the next adventure! She is crate trained and has learned to appreciate her downtime, happily settling in for cozy naps. But make no mistake—Koda is looking for a forever human who shares her love for the outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, playing in the yard, or exploring new places, she’ll be happiest with someone who can match her active lifestyle. If you’re searching for a loyal, intelligent, and adventurous companion who will keep life exciting and full of love, Koda just might be your perfect match. ##2693454##

Story
Meet Theodora (Theo for short) Theo is the kind of dog who turns ordinary moments into little bursts of joy. A natural-born goofball, she’s playful, silly, and packed with personality—always ready to make you laugh with her antics. Whether she’s proudly parading around with her favorite stick or inventing her own games, Theo knows how to keep life entertaining. But beneath all that playful energy is a seriously sweet soul. Theo is incredibly loving and adores her people, making her just as perfect for cuddle time as she is for playtime. She’s smart, curious, and a little proud of her accomplishments—especially when she finds the perfect toy and needs to show it off. Theo is crate trained and enjoys a few good naps to recharge, but she’s definitely looking for a home that will embrace her playful spirit and make daily fun a priority. She loves romping with her siblings and would thrive with an active human who’s ready to be her partner in adventure. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you smiling, keep you moving, and love you endlessly, Theo might just be your perfect match ##2693458##

Story
Our Freddie is extremely smart, loving and energetic. This girl loves a tennis ball and will walk on water for one. She also loves her big blue ball and her pool. She will spend all her free time trying to balance that ball on her head. She is shy for about three minutes when she first meets you. Give her a few kind words and a tennis ball and you have a best friend for life. She has done well on her crate training but would do much better out of the rescue environment. She would love an active family to love.

Bruce is a 7 year old German shepherd blue heeler mix. He is very energetic and loves to run around and play. He is good with kids and likes to play with other dogs. His ideal new home would be loving and someone with a backyard or access to a dog park, and okay with a dog who enjoys to use his voice. He is seriously the sweetest dog I’ve ever had and will love you so much.

Story
Ace is as affectionate as he is pretty. He has the biggest most beautiful ears. He loves other dogs and would do well with children. He loves squeaky toys and playing tug of war with the other pups. He is doing great on his crate training. He would progress much faster if he were not in a shelter environment. Ace is a favorite with the neighbors, the trainer and the volunteers. His ears make me smile a hundred times a day. We did a DNA test on Ace. The results were: 58.7 percent American Pit Bull Terrier. 18.9 percent Australian Cattle Dog. 15.3 percent Labrador Retriever and 7.1 percent chow Chow. We call this 100 percent awesome and he really is.

Story
Name: Dot aka Koda (Nicknames - Koda Nick or Koda Bear)Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Chow Chow MixSex/Age/Weight: Female/DOB 11-29-20/55 lbs.Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives.House/Crate Trained: Yes/Yes. Koda loves her crate! When it comes to nap time or settling in for the evening Koda goes right in for a snooze.Dogs/Cats/Children: Yes/No/Yes. Koda does very well with medium to large sized dogs and has two furry siblings she loves to wrestle with. She is not comfortable with smaller dogs and cats so it is best that she be the one and only or have a medium to large size dog to hang out with. She loves children of all ages especially when she can cuddle up with them and get belly rubs.Training: Koda is working on her commands and manners. She knows sit, down, and paw, and walks great on a leash. She will need someone to continue to train her so she can be the best girl for you!Working on: Koda is quite the snuggle bunny and sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. She is learning that you can cuddle with your humans without sitting on their lap. She can be vocal about things she wants - dinner, attention, etc., She is an American Idol in the making and is in the process of learning to sing silently and will need someone to continue teaching her it is okay to sing to yourself. Koda has trust issues when it comes to dinner time and prefers to enjoy her meal in her crate. Her foster family is slowly introducing her to others at meal time. Things I like: People! She loves to be around her humans. Snuggling up with them is one of her favorite pastimes. When she is not cuddling up, you will find her playing and running around in the backyard with her siblings or having fun time in the water.Things I don’t like: Being alone or ignored for long periods of time. Koda would love someone who works from home or who is only gone from home for short periods of time. As much as she loves playing in the water, bath time is not her favorite. She doesn’t understand it helps keep her beautiful coat from shedding so much. She will need a daily brushing to help with her shedding as well. Ideal home: Koda would do best where she can get lots of exercise, play time, and attention. A family who has time to be committed to her would be best, preferably with a backyard where she she could hang out with a furry sibling (medium to large sized dogs only). If you are interested in giving Dot aka Koda a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer.
