Meet Tilly! Tilly is a 2-year-old Blue Heeler with a big heart and plenty of energy. She loves people and gets along with everyone she meets. She’s crate-trained, knows most common commands, and is both spayed and microchipped. Tilly enjoys playtime, walks, and spending time near her humans — she’d thrive in a home that can match her active personality. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she’s been great around other dogs (though our older dog unfortunately hasn’t adjusted to having her around). Meet Archer! 🐾💙Archer is a handsome 1-year-old Australian Cattle Blue Tick Mix who is ready to find a family that will give him the love, guidance, and patience he deserves. He was owner-released, and since arriving, he has shown us what a sweet, eager-to-please boy he truly is.Archer does wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats, and he is crate trained. We’re not sure yet if he is house trained. He does experience anxiety, but with a calm, consistent routine and training, he can continue to build confidence.He already knows sit and stay, and he enjoys having something to do—especially chewing on hard chew toys! Like many young dogs, Archer comes with a couple of habits he’ll need help improving, such as digging and pooping in his kennel. With patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, he has every potential to overcome these behaviors.Archer weighs 32 pounds, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.💙 Archer is a good boy who just needs someone willing to guide him. With the right family, he’ll grow into a loyal, loving, and well-mannered companion. Could that be you?Archer's Adoption Fee is $35.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases.
