Story
Rowdy originally came to us as a stray in February 2025--a very friendly guy! He was adopted two weeks later, but came back to us in July 2025--no fault of his own! The couple who adopted him were having troubles and split up--and Rowdy was protective of the female. However, she could not take him out of state when she moved away and chose to surrender him back to us. He is good with other dogs, house and kennel trained--and waiting for the perfect person(s) to give him a loving home again.

Story
Meet Dolly! Don’t judge this girl by first impressions, Dolly’s true charm shines once she’s home and settled. At first, she’s an enthusiastic whirlwind of wiggles and face kisses, but once she feels safe, she’s affectionate, focused, and eager to please. She’s incredibly smart and quickly learned bedtime routines, like hopping off the bed and into her crate when the lights go out. Dolly walks nicely on leash (just a little ahead of you!), loves to play fetch, and is both cuddly and goofy. She’s gentle with corrections, listens well to the “Quiet” command, and doesn’t beg for food — a total bonus for game day snack spreads! She adores other dogs and people, though her excitement can be a bit speedy during greetings. Soft as suede, barely sheds, and full of heart, Dolly is a beautiful, joyful dog ready to bring love and laughter to her forever family. Whoever adopts her will be very lucky! To meet Dolly please fill out an application on our website unchainedmelodies.org/adopt All UMDR dogs are up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee is $200 *Fences are NOT required to adopt from UMDR but we do request a fenced yard for those that would benefit from one. *No Invisible Fences *No Out of State Adoptions

Story
Meet Blitz Blitz is a spunky 13 week pup and is a smart, social and ready to find her forever family. She and her siblings came to us with their mom, who appears to be a pit/heeler mix. Dad is a mystery, but what we do know is that these pups will grow into large dogs. Blitz is thriving in her foster home, where she lives with a large dog and gets along great. She is learning all the puppy basics, including crate training, potty training, leash walking, and basic commands. Blitz has a curious, eager to please personality and enjoys both playtime and snuggles. She’ll do well in a home that can continue her training and give her plenty of love and attention as she grows. The adoption fee is $225 and includes a microchip, spay/neuter, and up to date vaccinations and preventatives. Apply to meet Blitz at unchainedmelodies.org/adopt *no out of state adoptions *no electric fences

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello everyone, my name is Juliett and the people at the rescue told me a generous donor has sponsored my adoption for my future family. I thought I should come on here to announce that because wow, my furever humans have got to see this!! I am a smart, sweet and affectionate girl. I am looking for an active family that goes to or lives on or near the lake or even a kiddie pool would be great in the summer because this gal loves playing and swimming in some water!! I am sure my humans just have not seen that my adoption fee is sponsored so I had to come tell you! I am patiently waiting for my human family to come get me and take me to my furever home! Can't wait to meet you!  Love, JuliettVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 15, 2025, 3:38 pm
