Starr and a corgi companion were dumped in a rural area. When the finders took her in to be spayed it was discovered she was pregnant. Lucky for Starr she was sent to Rescue. Starr was able to safely have and raise her puppies in a foster home. Barely more than a puppy herself, she will never have to have puppies again. Born a tripod, this girl doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. True to her Heeler roots, she’s active, confident, and capable—keeping up with life just like any four-legged dog. She embodies everything people love about the breed: intelligent, loyal, and always ready to be involved. Starr truly loves everyone she meets. She is good with dogs big and small and cats too. She is safe on the farm with horses. She’s very well behaved, walks great on a leash, is fully potty trained, and can be trusted in the house without being crated.
