Hi there! I am a lovable little puppy! Even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don`t get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what`s expected of me. I will need help on all those fun puppy things like house training and basic obedience. I want to learn everything I possibly can. I am pretty excited about life and doing new things! My goal is to be your lifelong companion and I should learn quickly with praise, treats and little patience. I`d really love for us to get enrolled in training classes, after all school is the best way to get us both educated on what it takes to raise a puppy! It will be fun to watch me as I`m learning, after all puppies can be pretty silly. If you`re ready to take on all the fun and companionship, come on out to Wayside Waifs today!

This is Romeo! He is a 1yo Australian Cattle Dog with lots of personality. He is UTD on shots, neutered, and microchipped. The reason I am rehoming him is because he plays too rough with our Dachshund. Other than that he’s been great. He knows basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, kennel) He is kennel trained very well, house trained, and does AMAZING on the leash, making walks stress free. He’d probably do best in a house with a fenced in backyard or lots of land. Off leash he does great, not wanting to leave your side. He’s been around horses as well and does great with them.

Shy little Millie is looking for her safe place to land Millie was surrendered to the shelter due to unforeseen circumstances, and she arrived very shut down, fearful, and unsure of the world around her. In those early days, even something as simple as a ball outside felt overwhelming to her.She is a sensitive Cattle Dog type who takes her time to trust, and she will need a calm, low-traffic home with someone experienced in helping nervous dogs feel safe at their own pace.Millie previously lived with an autistic child and was very protective and loyal to them, showing her deep capacity to bond once she feels secure.Since beginning to decompress, her personality has slowly started to peek through. When she’s comfortable, Millie enjoys zooming around the yard with happy bursts of energy. She’s also shown interest in other dogs, sometimes initiating playful behavior along the fence line—though face-to-face interactions will need slow, thoughtful introductions.Millie is: * Potty trained* Walks fairly well on leash* Best suited for a calm, patient home* Dog-selective and needs slow introductionsUnderneath her fear is a dog who wants to connect—she just needs time, safety, and someone willing to let her unfold at her own pace
